Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. 8.Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat. 9.Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. 10.Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the device. 11.Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. 12.Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the device. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/device combination to avoid injury from tip-over. 13.Unplug this device during lightning storms or during long periods of disuse. 14.Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug damages, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the device, the device has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT OPEN ATTENTION: RISQUE DE CHOC ELECTRIQUE - NE PAS OUVRIR WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS APPLIANCE TO RAIN OR MOISTURE. The device should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed on the apparatus. The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance. CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Only replace with the same or equivalent type. WARNING: The battery (battery or batteries or battery pack) should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. WARNING: The mains plug/appliance coupler is used as a cutoff device, the cut-off device should remain readily operable. WARNING: DO NOT INGEST BATTERY, CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention. Protective earthing terminal. The apparatus should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection. Batteries in the remote control: Keep the remote control battery away from children. It may cause a fire or chemical burn if mishandled. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat above 212ºF (100ºC), Replace only with a battery of the correct type and model number (CR2025 lithium coin cell battery, 3 V). Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings on the back of the device. Put the system in a position and location that will not interfere with ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the device and to protect it from overheating. For example, do not place the device very close to a wall or in front of a curtain that may reduce the heat sink efficiency. Cleaning: Please note we have included a cleaning cloth with your device. To avoid making scratches to the surface, we recommend that you use the cleaning cloth included. Before cleaning, please unplug the device from the AC power outlet. Sitting or leaning on device: Do not lean against the device and do not sit on it under any circumstances. Avoid hearing damage: Playing very loud music for an extended period of time can result in permanent hearing loss. Label location: The product labels and safety related markings are located on the rear panel. Outside Antenna: If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to this product, be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges. Article 810 of the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFP No. 70 information, Section 54 of the Canadian Electrical Code, with regard to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location of antenna/discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode. Note to CATV system installer: This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer’s attention to Article 820- 40 of the NEC (of USA) that provides guidelines for proper grounding. In particular, it specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as is practical. Operating temperatures: The recommended operating temperature range for the Geneva Sound System is 41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit (5 to 40 degrees Celsius). CONFORMITY FCC Regulations Warning: Chang…

RF Exposure Info

INTERTEK TESTING SERVICES RF Exposure The equipment under test (EUT) is a Speaker Radio with Bluetooth function. The EUT was powered by AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz. For more detail information pls. refer to the user manual. Modulation Type: GFSK, π/4 –DQPSK and 8-DPSK. Bluetooth Version: 2.1 with EDR function. Antenna Type: Integral antenna. Antenna Gain: 0dBi. The nominal conducted output power specified: 2dBm +/-3dB. The nominal radiated output power (e.i.r.p) specified: 2dBm (+/- 3dB) According to the KDB 447498: The maximun peak radiated emission for the EUT is 98.5dBμV/m at 3m in the frequency 2480MHz The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2 / 30] mW = 3.3dBm which is within the production variation. The minimum peak radiated emission for the EUT is 97.7dBμV/m at 3m in the frequency 2441MHz The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2 / 30] mW = 2.5dBm which is within the production variation. The maximun conducted output power specified is 5dBm = 3.2mW The source- based time-averaging conducted output power = 3.2 * Duty factor mW= 2.7 mW The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level: = 3.0 * (min. test separation distance, mm) / sqrt(freq. in GHz) = 3.0 * 5 / sqrt (2.480) mW = 9.53 mW Since the source-based time-averaging conducted output power is well below the SAR low threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing. Transmitter Duty Cycle Calculation Based on the Bluetooth Specification (BT version: 2.1 + EDR), the duty factor is dependent of packet type (DH1, DH3 and DH5).For one period for a pseudo-random hopping through all 79 RF channels, for DH5: One hop set consists of 5 TX slot and 1 RX slot. Duty factor = 5 / 6 = 0.833 This requirement is according to KDB 865664 D02 FCC ID: ZXX-MODELXLBT
