WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS -02- OPERATIONS Basic OperationThe connected light can be turned ON in two ways:1. With a Z-wave remote.2. Manually with the program button on the Z-Wave module. Remote Control Z-Wave remotes provide control of an Individual device, Groups of devices and Scenes. Please refer to your remote control's instructions for detail on its capabilities and instructions for adding and controlling devices. Manual Control The Program Button on the ZW2P appliance module allows the user to: Provides manual and remote control Blue LED show feedback from the controller Ease of installation(no new wiring) Compatible with other Z-Wave enabled devices This appliance module is a Z-Wave enabled device and is fully compatible with any Z-Wave enabled network. Z-Wave enabled devices displaying the Z-Wave logo can also be used with it regardless of the manufacturer. Repeaters will retransmit the RF signal from one device to another until the intended device is reached. This ensures that the signal is received by its intended destination by routing the signal around obstacles and radio dead spots. INSTALLATION 1. Plug the ZW2P Appliance Module into a 120VAC,60HZ outlet. 2 2. Plug the appliance or other electric device into the ZW2P Appliance does not exceed 600 Watts. 3. Turn the knob or switch on the appliance or electric device to the ON 3 1.To manually turn ON the ZW2P Appliance Module, press and release the program button.The blue indicator LED will turn ON, and the appliance or device plugged into the ZW2P Appliance Module will also turn ON.2.To manually turn OFF the ZW2P Appliance Module, simply press andrelease the program button. The blue indicator will turn OFF and the appliance or device plugged into the ZW2P Appliance Module will also turn OFF. 1 The four possible responses are: - It will respond to ALL-ON and the ALL-OFF command (default). - It will not respond to ALL-ON or ALL-OFF commands.- It will respond to the ALL-OFF command but will not respond to the ALL-ON command. - It will respond to the ALL-ON command but will not respond to the ALL-OFF command All On/All Off Depending upon your primary controller, the ZW2P appliance module can be set to respond to ALL ON and ALL OFF commands in up to four different ways. Some controllers may not be able to change the response from its default setting. Please refer to your controller’s instructions for information on whether or not it supports the configuration function and if so, how to advanced controller. However, basic remotes do not have this capability. ADVANCED OPERATIONThe following Advanced Operation parameters require that you have an Blue LED indicator change this setting. WIRELESS RANGE This device complies with the Z-Wave standard of open-air, line of sight transmission distances of 65 feet. Actual performance in a home dependson the numbers of walls between the remote controller and the destination device, the type of construction and the number of Z-Wave enabled devices installed in the control network. Operational Description Power section Input stage is made of 4 parts : the fuse F1 , diode D1, capacitor C1C4C5 and inductor L1. Fuse's function is to limit the inrush current of rectifier D1 in a safe range, attenuation of differential-mode noise , fault occurs in anywhere else, bring the protection of circuit. The function of capacitance and inductance is filtering, insure the output waveform is smooth. The power processing stage consists of the LNK3047PN, L2, D3, and C8. Diode D3 adopts a reverse recovery time (Trr = 35ns) of the quick reply diode. Inductor L2 with appropriate RMS current rating (to meet the temperature rise requirements), capacitor C8 is the output filtering capacitance, the main function is to limit the output voltage ripple. The output is a steady 5V DC voltage. Diodes D3 and D4's forward voltage drop is the same, both sides of the C7 voltage tracks the output voltage. The resistance divider which is made of R2 and R3 will proceed detection and regulation of C3 voltage. Using of switch cycles to maintain a steady output voltage. When the output voltage rises, the current into the FB pin increases. if the current checks IFB value, then the cycle will not lose, when the current is less than IFB value, it will perform the switching operation cycle , so as to reduce the load, there will be more cycle will be lost, and when the load increased, only a few cycles to be lost. And then go through the step-down regulator U2, The RC filter circuit consists of R4, C10, C3 will proceed filtering of output voltage. RF control part In the case of power supply, manual signal input, press SW1 switch and give a voltage signal to RF control board U1, after signal is processing by U1, recognition, sent to the execution section to proceed load adjustment. Execution section After sending the signal to TRIAC through RF control part , relay turns on and then by the RF control ZeroX zero signal detection to off, control the load. Among which electricity into the R6, R7, BAT54S, R8, R9, C11 form a zero-crossing detection circuit gives feedback of RF control section.
