It helps millions of people hear focus ed audio in places where s ound matte rs mos t, es pecially in s chool and churches whe re concentrations are needed. The 72MHz mini wireless audio system allows multi-trans mitte rs and multi-receivers to be used in the same field. Simply plug the microphone or othe r audio sources into the MIC jack on the trans mitte rs . The pers on holdi ng the receiver can choos e the channel that they wa nt to hea r and it can amplify the s ound loud enough. They are very small, light-weighted and us er-friendly. All of our products re des igned to provide many years of reliable service. We are commited to provide the best assistive listening system to the users who have hearing problem. This manual contains bas ic product information to ens ure trouble free opera tion s o please take time to read through this manual thoroughly before us ing your ne w assitive listening system. Every Word.........Eve ry Sound........Heard, Unde rs tood This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is s ubject to the following two conditions : (1) this device may not caus e harmful interference, and (2) this device mus t accept any interference received, including interfere nce that may caus e undes ired operation. FCC Compliance Statement Changes or modifications not expres s ly approved by the party res pons ible for compliance could void the us er’s authority to ope rate the equipment. This equipment has been tes ted and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to pro vide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential ins tallation. This equipment generates , us es and can radiate radio frequency ene rgy and, if not ins talled and us ed in accordance with the ins tructions , may caus e harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does caus e harmful interfe rence to ra dio or televis ion reception, which can be determined by turning the equipme nt off and on, the us er is encouraged to try to correct the inte rfere nce by one or more of the following measures: -- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. -- Increas e the s eparation betwee n the equipme nt and receiver. -- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. -- Cons ult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This trans mitter mus t not be co-located or operati ng in conjunction with any other ante nna or trans mitte r. The portable device is designed to meet the re quire me nts for expos ure to radio waves es tablis hed by the Fede ral Communications Commis sion (USA). Thes e requi reme nts s et a SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. The highes t SAR value reported unde r this s tandard during product certification for us e when properly worn on the body Operations ARG-TX72M Transmitter Diagram Transmitter Programming Instructions POWER UP Switch the transm itter to ON p osition. The di splay will show t he v olume level for a seo nd then change to the Chan nel Num ber. The backlit turns off automatically after ten seconds. MUTE Press and ho ld the SET button for one seco nd to mute the transmitter. Do it again to unmute. When it is muted, there is a muted icon on the display and the channel nu mber flashes. When it is u nmuted, the icon di sappears an d the chan nel n umber become s still. VOLUME/CHANNEL SETUP In normal mode, press the “-“ button to see the c urrent vol ume level an d pre ss the “+” button to see the current channe l nu mber. Press an d h old the “ SET” b utton and turn the transmitter to ON po sition. T he l ock ic on disappears from the di splay. Pre ss the “ SET” b utton to adju st the vo lume level (01-02), and pre ss the “-” or “+“ buttons to scroll thro ugh the chan nels. The display d oes auto-lock ten seconds after operations. Tr o ubleshooting 1) When there is STATIC INTERFERENCE or N O SOUND, please go thro ugh the foll owing procedures to e limi nate the problem s. a. Make sure that the transmitter and receiver are set on the same c hannel. b. Check the Mute setting on the transmitter. c. Check whether two transmitters are set at the same channel. Avoid two transmitters to be on the same chan nel. d. Sou nd leve l on the li ne in put source may be to o h igh. 2) When a NOISY SOUND occurs, plea se go thro ugh the fo llowi ng proced ures to e limi nate the problem s. a. Make sure that the transmitter and receiver are within the di stance range. b. Make sure that the so un d leve l o n the transmitter and audi o sources are set at a reasonable leve l. c. Try changing the transmitter to a different freq uency to see i f the soun d q uality improves. In case the proble m persi sts, please c onsult yo ur dealer or ARG.
