Audio Resource Group, Inc. UHF wireless transmitter AUDIO RESOURCE GROUP 900MHZ MINI TRANSMITTER USERS MANUAL Thanks for purchasing our 900MHz mini products. The 900MHz mini wireless audio system allows multi‐transmitters and multi‐receivers to be used in the same field. Simply plug the microphone or other audio sources into the MIC jack on the transmitters. The person holding the receiver can choose the channel that they want to hear. They are very small, light‐weighted and user‐friendly. Safety Instructions a. Read all instructions before using the devices. Follow printings on the devices. b. Use the power adapter or charging case provided with the devices. c. Keep the devices away from water and fire. d. Do not attempt to service the devices yourself. Please contact your dealer or ARG directly for maintenance and replacements. Warranty Audio Resource Group provides two years warranty from the purchase date on transmitters and receivers. During the warranty period, if the material and workmanship is determined to be defective by our repair center, we will: 1) Repair the product with the new or rebuilt parts, or 2) Replace the product at no charge with new or rebuilt comparable products or parts 900MHz Transmitter Diagram Transmitter LCD Display Diagram 1. Mute Icon (when there is a mute icon on the display, the transmitter is muted; vice versa) 2. Signal Strength 3. HI (It is for switching sampling rate, when there is “HI”, it is 16k sampling rate; while there is not, it is 8k sampling rate) 4. Channel or Volume Icon and its value 5. Lock Icon 6. Battery status (when the battery status is low, please charge the device soon) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 7. Mic or Line Input Icon (when it is “Mic” on the display, the transmitter accepts microphone input; while it is “Line” on the display, the transmitter accepts line input.) Transmitter Programming Instructions POWER UP Switch the transmitter to ON position. The display will show the Volume level for a second then change to Channel Number. INPUT SOURCE SELECTION When it is a microphone that you plug in, please hold the “‐“ button and turn on the transmitter and there will be a “Mic” icon on the display; While you need to use the line input, please hold the “+” button and turn on the transmitter and there will be a “Line” icon on the display. Make sure the input source selection matches the input source being connected. MUTE Press and hold the SET button for two seconds to mute the transmitter. Do it again to unmute. VOLUME/CHANNEL ADJUSTMENT On OFF position, press and hold the “SET” button and turn on the transmitter. Use the “SET” button to adjust the volume level (01‐07). Use the “–“ or “+” button to scroll through the channel numbers (01‐25). SAMPLING RATE SWITCH On OFF position, press and hold the “ –“ & “+” buttons and turn the transmitter to ON position. When there is “HI” icon on the display, it means that the device sampling rate is set at 16KHz; When there is none, it means that it is set at 8KHz. Troubleshooting 1) When there is STATIC INTERFRENCE or NO SOUND, please go through the following procedures to eliminate the problems. a. Make sure that the transmitter and receiver are set on the same channel. b. Check the Mute setting on the transmitter. c. Check whether two transmitters are set at the same channel. Avoid two transmitters to be on the same channel. d. Sound level on the line input source may be too high. 2) When a NOISY SOUND occurs, please go through the following procedures to eliminate the problems. a. Make sure that the transmitter and receiver are within the distance range. b. Make sure that the sound level on the transmitter and audio sources are set at a reasonable level. c. Try changing the transmitter to a different frequency to see if the sound quality improves. In case the problem persists, please consult your dealer or ARG. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: ‐‐ Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. ‐‐ Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. ‐‐ Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. ‐‐ Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
