RF Exposure Info

Siklu Communication Ltd. FCC ID: 2ACYESK-MH60TG-A2 Page 1 of 1 Environmental evaluation and exposure limit according to FCC CFR 47part 1, §1.1307, §1.1310 The calculation was done to confirm required safe distance for fixed device. Limit for power density for general population/uncontrolled exposure is 1 mW/cm 2 for 1500 -100000 MHz frequency range: Limit for power density for occupational exposure is 5 mW/cm 2 for 1500 -100000 MHz frequency range. The power density P (mW/cm 2 ) = P T / 4 r 2 , where P T is the maximum equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP), measured value is 40.15 dBm which is equal to 10351 mW. The minimum safe distance “r” for general population/uncontrolled exposure, where RF exposure does not exceed FCC permissible limit, is r = sqrt { P T / (Px4)} = sqrt {10351 / 12.56} = 29 cm. The minimum safe distance “r” for occupational exposure, where RF exposure does not exceed FCC permissible limit, is r = sqrt { P T / (Px4)} = sqrt {10351 / 5 x 12.56} = 13 cm The information note about safe distance shall be provided in the User Manual.

Specification test limits are given in Table 7.5.1. Table 7.5.1 Limits for conducted emissions Frequency, MHz Class B limit, dB(V) QPAVRG 0.15 - 0.5 66 - 56* 56 - 46* 0.5 - 5.0 56 46 5.0 - 30 60 50 * The limit decreases linearly with the logarithm of frequency. 7.5.2 Test procedure 7.5.2.1 The EUT was set up as shown in Figure 7.5.1 and associated photographs, energized and the performance check was conducted. 7.5.2.2 The measurements were performed at power terminals with the LISN, connected to a spectrum analyzer in the frequency range referred to in Table 7.5.2. Unused coaxial connector of the LISN was terminated with 50 Ohm. Quasi-peak and average detectors were used throughout the testing. 7.5.2.3 The position of the device cables was varied to determine maximum emission level. 7.5.2.4 The worst test results (the lowest margins) were recorded in Table 7.5.2 and shown in the associated plots.
