NOTE: ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttoPart15oftheFCCRules. Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation. Thestandardsincludeasubstantialsafetymargindesignedtoassurethesafetyofallpersons,regardlessofageandhealth.The exposurestandardforwirelessmobilephonesemploysaunitofmeasurementknownastheSpecificAbsorptionRate,orSAR.The SARlimitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.*TestsforSARareconductedwiththephonetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinall testedfrequencybands.AlthoughtheSARisdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactualSARlevelofthephonewhile operatingcanbewellbelowthemaximumvalue.Thisisbecausethephoneisdesignedtooperateatmultiplepowerlevelssoastouse onlythepowerrequiredtoreachthenetwork.Ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoawirelessbasestationantenna,thelowerthepower output.Beforeaphonemodelisavailableforsaletothepublic,itmustbetestedandcertifiedtotheFCCthatitdoesnotexceedthe limitestablishedbythegovernmentadoptedrequirementforsafeexposure.Thetestsareperformedinpositionsandlocations(e.g.,at theearandwornonthebody)asrequiredbytheFCCforeachmodel.ThehighestSARvalueforthismodelphonewhentestedforuse attheearis1.073W/Kgandwhenwornonthebody,asdescribedinthisuserguide,is0.612W/Kg(Body-wornmeasurementsdiffer amongphonemodels,dependinguponavailableaccessoriesandFCCrequirements).ThemaximumscaledSARinhotspotmodeis 1.065W/Kg.WhiletheremaybedifferencesbetweentheSARlevelsofvariousphonesandatvariouspositions,theyallmeetthe governmentrequirementforsafeexposure.TheFCChasgrantedanEquipmentAuthorizationforthismodelphonewithallreported SARlevelsevaluatedasincompliancewiththeFCCRFexposureguidelines.SARinformationonthismodelphoneisonfilewiththe FCCandcanbefoundundertheDisplayGrantsectionofhttp://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccidaftersearchingon FCCID:2ANMU-C21PROAdditionalinformationonSpecificAbsorptionRates(SAR)canbefoundontheCellular TelecommunicationsIndustryAsso-ciation(CTIA)web-siteathttp://www.wow-com.com.*IntheUnitedStatesandCanada,theSAR limitformobilephonesusedbythepublicis1.6watts/kg(W/kg)averagedoveronegramoftissue.Thestandardincorporatesa sub-stantialmarginofsafetytogiveadditionalprotectionforthepublicandtoaccountforanyvariationsinmeasurements.
