Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) certification information Your device conforms to U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) standards that limit human exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy emit ted by radio and telecommunications equipment. These standards prevent the sale of mobile devices that exceed a maximum exposure level (known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR) of 1.6 W/kg . In normal use, the actual SAR is likely to be much lower, as the d evice has been designed to emit only the RF energy necessary to transmit a signal to the nearest base station. By automatically emi tting lower FCC RF exposure guidelines. Some devices are required to receive approval from the FCC. If your device required FCC approval, you can view the FCC certification by opening Settings About phone S ta tus. levels when possible, your device reduces your overall exposure to RF energy. Page 111 of 115 According to the above description, this device was tested by the manufacturer to determine the SAR sensor triggering distances for the front, rear and top edge of the device. The measured power state within ±5mm of the triggering points (or until touching the phantom) is included for rear and each applicable edge. To ensure all production units are compliant it is necessary to test SAR at a distance 1mm less than the smallest distance from the device and SAR phantom with the device at maximum output power without power reduction. We tested the power and got the different proximity sensor triggering distances for front, rear, and top edge. But the manufacturer has declared 14mm (Front) / 16mm (Rear) / 16mm (Top) are the most conservative triggering distance for wifi antenna .Therefore base on the most conservative triggering distances as above, additional SAR measurements were required at 13mm (Front) / 15mm (Rear) / 15mm (Top) for wifi antenna.
