IR LED nights 8. Microphone About the device 1. Power connection with the doorbell The doorbell supports AC 12~24V hard-wire or DC 5V via a 5V(1~2A) adapter (adapter is not included) for power supply. To get the power with AC 12~24V hardwire: [1] Shut off the power to your doorbell at the circuit or fuse breaker before installing. [2] Mark screw positions using the mounting plate on your wall. [3] Drill holes at the marked points if installing on a hard surface such as concrete or brick. Insert Mounting Anchors into holes. You can skip this step If installing on wood or siding. Note: Feed your doorbell wires through the center hole before mounting. [4] Attach your doorbell wires to the External Power Port on the back of your smart video doorbell. Use the provided wire extenders and wire terminal block if your existing doorbell wires are too short. Tighten the mounting screws with the screwdriver. Attach the smart video doorbell onto the mounting plate. Then secure it with a star-shaped screw at the bottom of the smart video doorbell, using the star-shaped screwdriver. Note: Your existing doorbell wires can go to any terminal on the External Power Port. 2. Micro SD card To save the events into local storage, the device needs a max.8GB~128GB (Class 10 or higher) micro SD card. Please format the card before using. 3. Reset If the device is not able to be connected to the app, you may need to reset the device. Hold and press the reset button for 5 seconds, the device will be restarted and you will hear the “welcome” voice announcement, which means the reset is succeed and the device is ready to connect. 4. Installation the device Connect the device with App to check the signal before mounting the device. 5. USB Chime Setup Supply Power: Connect your Wireless Chime to a USB power adapter near the Smart Doorbell. You can move it to a different location after pairing the device. Confirm Status Light: Wait for the Status Light to blink twice and then turn off. Pair with Smart Doorbell: [1] Press and hold the Volume button (13) until the blue indicator blinks rapidly, then release the button. [2] Press the doorbell button on the front of the device. [3] Complete Setup: Press the doorbell button again to ensure it rings. Your device is now paired. Note: Tapping the Ring Tone Selection button (14) cycles through all four tones. The selected tone will play by default once you stop cycling through them. Status light Installation the device: Setup with the App 1. Download and Install the app: Download and install the HALOWatch app by scanning the QR code for the Apple Store or Google Play Store. HALOWATCH Check that you have a strong Wi-Fi signal (at least two bars) where the smart device is to be installed. 2. Account Registration: Open the app and register a new account or log in to an existing account. 3. Add device: Navigate to the Home Page within the app. Locate and select "Add Camera" then go through preparation instructions to power on your device properly. 4. Bluetooth Access: Follow the on-screen instructions to enable Bluetooth access, which is required for device discovery. Do not skip this step. Ensure Bluetooth access is enabled as instructed, allowing the app to discover the device via BLE. 5. Connect to Wi-Fi: The app will automatically scan for nearby 2.4 GHz &5 GHz Wi-Fi routers. Note: This camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, if your smartphone connects to a 5GHz Wi-Fi please switch to 2.4GHz then connect with camera. 6. Input Wi-Fi Credentials: Enter the password for your selected Wi-Fi network. Click "Next" to initiate connection. Wait a few seconds for the device to connect to the internet. You'll hear a notification sound from the device indicating successful progress. 7. Live view and app support Hear and talk to the device with the app. If you have any questions or suggestions, find the support icon as following to chat or e-mail with us.
