Active Safety BT Muff - Instruction Instructions Proper fit Place the headset over the head and secure the muff cups over each ear. Adjust the headband to ensure a secure fit. Power On: - Turn the power on by pressing ON/OFF button for 2 seconds Volume Control: - Press volume control + to increase or - to decrease Audio Input Jack: - Plug in a standard 3.5mm male connection cable to connect your device. Power Off: - Turn the power on by pressing ON/OFF button for 2 seconds The multi-color LED will turn on for 10 seconds after power on, with the following color scheme for battery indication: Green: Battery is between 30% and 100% capacity Yellow: Battery is between 15% and 30% capacity Flashing Red: Battery is between 0% and 15% capacity When the unit is plugged in and charging, the LED should be solid red. When the unit is plugged in and fully charged, the LED should be solid blue green. USB Charging voltage/current: Input 5V DC, 1A Bluetooth • By pressing and holding the BT/power button from the powered off state for 5 seconds, the unit will enter Discoverable Mode. In this mode, the unit will advertise itself and allow itself to be paired to a new device. • The LED will alternate flashing Blue and Red. • Discoverable Mode will timeout after 180 seconds and re-enter Connectable Mode. • “Pairing” voice clip will play. • The advertising name will be: Active Safety BT Muff Paired Mode • While in Paired Mode, the status LED will remain off • If the device disconnects, it will enter Connectable Mode. Phone Calls • To answer a call, short press the BT/power button • To reject a call, double press the BT/power button for 1sec • To end a call, short press the BT/power button • During a phone call, if another call is received, double press the BT/power button to switch from first call to the second call. • To switch back to the first call, short press the BT/power button to end the second call and it will be switched back to the previous call. • Double press the BT/power button to redial the last phone number • Microphone Output to Bluetooth should come from dedicated microphone in paddle. Audio/Music • To Play music, short press the BT/power button • To Pause music, short press the BT/power button during playback • For Next Track, press and hold BT Vol+ button • For Previous Track, press and hold BT Vol- button BT Volume Controls • Short pressing the BT Vol+ button during a phone call will adjust the call volume. • Short pressing the BT Vol+ button while streaming music will adjust the connected phone’s media volume.
