24 6 Maintenance 6.1 Replacing the Senti-Probe The service life of the Senti-Probe is approximately 1 year. Replace the probe as prompted by the Aiper App's timely reminder. 1. Remove the Senti-Probe chamber cover: Lay the device upside down, and locate the Senti-Probe chamber cover on the bottom. Press both side locking buttons inward to unlock and remove the cover. 2. Take out the old probe from the slot, hold the bottom position and unscrew in counterclockwise direction to remove it. 3. Take out the new probe, and screw it to the probe slot in clockwise direction. Replace the storage cover with the perforated protective cover. 25 6.2 Calibrating & Cleaning the Senti-Probe CAUTION: Be careful when operating the device or replacing the probe. The front sensor of the Senti-Probe is fragile and easy to be damaged. • Calibrating the Probe: The probe will require calibration after use for a period of time. Every 60 days, the app will prompt for re-calibration. Active calibration is optional if necessary. Please prepare the probe calibration cup and calibration powder, bring purified water, and follow the steps in the app to perform calibration. 4. Reinstall the probe into the slot, and place the storage cover into the chamber cover slot for easy storage. Fit the Senti-Probe chamber cover securely. • Cleaning the Probe: If the front sensor of the Senti-Probe is dirty, DO NOT wipe it. Only rinse with tap water or purified water. 26 6.3 Cleaning the Filter Box To maintain optimal performance, clean the filter box every 2–3 days. 1. Place the device on a flat surface. Hold the device with one hand, press the filter box access button with another hand and pull the filter box out gently. 2. To open the filter box, use your hand to release the filter box fixing clip and lift the lid. 3. Empty the debris inside the filter box and rinse it with water. It is recommended to rinse with high-pressure water gun to ensure thorough cleaning. CAUTION: When opening the filter box, keep the suction port upright to prevent the debris from spilling out. CAUTION: Keep hands clear of the pinch point while rinsing. 27 6.4 Cleaning the Impeller 1. Push the impeller to one side with hand, then gently remove it. 2 Clean any debris tangled on the impeller, and then reinstall them. Ensure the impeller are securely fixed into the slots on both sides. 4. Slide the filter box back into the device along the guides until you hear a click, indicating that the filter box is securely in place. 28 6.5 Cleaning the Propeller 6.6 Cleaning the Camera and Sensor 6.7 Cleaning the Solar Panel 1. If the propeller is tangled with debris, please ensure the device is turned off, remove and clean the propeller's blades. 2. After cleaning the propeller's blades, reattach the blades to their original position until you hear a click, indicating the blades are securely in place. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera and sensor lens to keep it free from dust. White residue from pool water chemicals/minerals may appear on the solar panel after use. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.. To ensure optimal charging efficiency, it is recommended to clean the solar panel every week. WARNING: Avoid using a high-pressure water gun or abrasive tools to clean the solar panel, as this may damage the panel and void the warranty. Clic k  29 6.8 Cleaning the Water Pump Filter To ensure effective filtration, clean the water pump filter regularly. 1. Place the device upside down, and find the water pump filter at the bottom. 2. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the water pump filter, and rinse the filter with water thoroughly. 3. After cleaning the water pump filter, reattach it back in its original position. 30 6.9 Powering Off and Storing Your Aiper During off-seasons, such as winter or long vacations, when your Aiper device isn't in use, follow these steps to keep it in top shape: 1. Fully charge the device before storage. Ensure the device is turned off and disconnected from the charger before storage. 2.Thoroughly clean the entire device, including the top and bottom shells, wheels, and charging port to remove any dirt. 3. Dry the device with a tissue or soft cloth, and ensure the silicone plug for the charging port is properly closed. 4.
