17 Operation (continued) Defrost (Automatic) Simply press the pad to defrost frozen food. It works automatically without any settings. [Example: Defrost food on Medium (Standard)] 1 This feature allows you to defrost foods such as meat cuts, poultry and seafood, simply by pressing Defrost. 2 Press Start. Defrosting will start. Package in heavy-duty plastic wrap, bags (labeled “For Freezer”), or freezer paper. 3. Remove as much air as possible. 4. Seal securely, date, and label. To Defrost: 1. Remove wrapper. This helps moisture to evaporate. Juices from food can get hot and cook the food. 2. It is not suitable to defrost meat joints and big pieces. For large quantities , please use P3 manual power and time. 3. Set food in microwave safe dish DO NOT COVER. After Defrosting: 1. Large items may be frozen in the center.
