This module should be installed in the host device according to the interface specification (installation procedure). The end product must be labeled “Contains FCC ID: AZD319/ IC: 498J-319” Following statement must be included in the user manual of host device. FCC/IC Notice Model: CD1132 (including Wireless Module Model WM319, FCC ID: AZD319 / IC: 498J-319) This equipment complies with FCC/IC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines and RSS-102 of the IC radio frequency (RF) Exposure rules. This equipment should be installed and operated keeping the radiator at least 20cm or more away from person’s body. This device complies with Part 15 of FCC Rules and Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of this device. This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. FCC Notice (Compact Photo Printer, Model CD1132 systems) This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions; (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Class B digital devices, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: ● Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. ● Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. ● Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. ● Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. The cable with the ferrite core provided with the digital camera must be used with this equipment in order to comply with Class B limits in Subpart B of Part 15 of the FCC rules. Do not make any changes or modifications to the equipment unless otherwise specified in the manual. If such changes or modifications should be made, you could be required to stop operation of the equipment. Canon U.S.A., Inc. One Canon Park, Melville, New York 11747, U.S.A. Type of Equipment: W ireless M odule Model No. : WM319 FCC ID: AZD319 Canon Inc. declares that M odel : W M 319 complies with FCC radiation exposure requirement specified in the FCC Rules 2.1091. RF Exposure Calculations: The following information provides the minimum separation distance for the highest gain antenna provided with the “W M 319“ as calculated from FCC Part 1, §1.1310, TABLE 1 (B) Limits for General Population / Uncontrolled Exposure. This calculation is based on the highest EIRP possible from the system , considering m axim um power and antenna gain, and considering a 1.0m W /cm ^2 uncontrolled exposure lim it. The Friis form ula used was: S = (P * G) / (4* π * r 2 ) Where P = 13.18 mW (M aximum average output power) G = 0.55 Numerical Antenna gain; equal to -2.60 dBi r =20.0 cm For: W M 319S = 0.00144 mW/cm 2 Even taking into account the tolerance, this device can be satisfied with the lim its.
