REQUEST FOR CONFIDENTIALITY Allen Telecom Systems would like to request confidentiality with regard to the following documents in the filing for equipment approval identified by FCC ID. No. BCR-BCEL-FAST819 (1) Schematic diagrams contained in electronic file identified as schematics.pdf. It is the opinion of Allen Telecom Systems disclosure of this information would result in significant loss of revenue. This information should be kept confidential for 10 years/months. Only information that is not accessible to the general public may be held confidential. Generally internal and external photos cannot be held confidential. The exception would be if the PC board is potted.
Response to TCB findings Hi David and Davida, Here is the review of the next one: 1. The 731 Form has the FCC ID BCRBCEL-FAST819. Please confirm that you meant BCR- BCEL-FAST819. No new 731 form is needed. Confirmed. 2. There needs to be a statement in the manual addressing RF exposure. The following template may be used: “IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the following antenna installation and device operating configurations must be satisfied: A separation distance of at least 20 cm must be maintained between the antenna of this device and all persons. RF exposure compliance may need to be addressed at the time of licensing, as required by the responsible FCC Bureau(s), including antenna co-location requirements of 1.1307(b)(3). Maximum permissible antenna gain is **** as determined in MPE calculations**** dBi.” Revised manual supplied. 3. MPE prediction is based on 19dBm, yet the Part 22 test report says the product produces 22.8 dBm. The part 24 test report has 21.6dBm. Please provide an updated MPE exhibit and insert the correct antenna gain value in the warning in the manual. Revised MPE predictions supplied. 4. Please tell me where on the product the label will be located. A diagram or photo would be helpful. Photo supplied. Best regards Jon Curtis for: Barry C. Tune-up Procedure Step 1: Connect the BriteCell donor unit to the BriteCell remote unit using single mode fiber Step 2: Connect power to both units. Step 3: Input a TX test signal into the donor unit port (N-connector) Step 4: Measure the output power at one of the remote unit ports. This signal will be +7dB gain from the donor. Increase the gain until the spurs are above -13dBm Step 5: Input an RX test signal into the remote unit port. Step 6: Measure the output power at the donor unit port (N-connector). This signal will be +17dB gain from the remote unit. It is a good rule when working with the fibre optic components, to always have available the appropriate screw covers for closure of the optic connectors that are not connected. The intrinsic delicateness of an optic connection must be highlighted. A minimum layer of dust causes a notable increase of the insertion loss, therefore. ÿ Always close the optic connectors that are not connected, with the appropriate screw covers. ÿ Always use compressed gas to remove any deposits in the receptacles before closing them. ÿ Use the appropriate cloths to clean the connectors. ÿ Do not allow the male connector to come into contact with skin or oily surfaces. ÿ Should it be necessary to clean the optic connector, only use pure alcohol.

The package includes up to four compact RF remote transceivers (TFAF), driven by one local distribution unit (TFLF). It is available in various frequency ranges (from 800MHz up to 2200 MHz), as a single band product. It is aimed to satisfy the requirements of 2 nd and 3 rd generation mobile networks for simple coverage needs. The TFLF local unit has been properly designed into a stand-alone mechanical case, including all required ancillary and support functions. The kit includes also four standard TFAF Remote units and a compound fiber-copper cable to connect them to local unit. The installed units can be lately kept also in case of system expansion to a fully modular BriteCell configuration, both single band or dual band, with a minimum setting effort. Both TFL and TFA can be optionally hosted into TKA mounting kits, allowing outdoor installation if required. System Diagram Nemko Dallas FCC PART 22, …
