Andrew Corporation 108 Rand Park Drive Garner, NC U.S.A. 27529 Tel: (919) 771-2570 Fax: (919) 771-2360 www.andrew.com 25 July 2006 A request has been made for the FCC identifier of the master hardware for the TFAM80/92/19E product. In the past, dating back to 1998, this has not been required. The remote unit, TFAM80/92/19E, has been the only unit requiring an FCC identifier. The remote unit is the only part of the hardware that radiates an RF signal. Regards, Michael Williamson

Parts List/Tune Up Info

ION-B TFAM80/92/19E Tune-Up Procedure Gain for the ION-B TFAM80/92/19E is set at the factory and no provisions are made for user accessible controls. Output power is a function of the input power and the fixed gain of the TFAM80/92/19E. The user should provide an input signal that will produce an output power not exceeding the levels included in the product data sheet for the TFAM80/92/19E remote.

Power listed is conducted. This approval is only for the Remote unit of a fiber optic distribution system. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be fixed-mounted on indoor permanent structures providing a separation distance of at least 20cm from all persons during normal operation. The maximum radiated output power must satisfy the MPE Categorical Exclusion Requirements of 2.1091. RF exposure compliance may need to be addressed at the time of licensing, as required by the responsible FCC Bureau(s), including antenna co-location requirements of 1.1307(b)(3). The maximum allowed antenna gain is 0dBi. Users and installers must be provided with appropriate antenna installation instructions and device operating conditions, including antenna co-location requirements of 1.1307(b)(3), for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
