The three buttons on the left side of the remote will operate one or more receiver units with matching addresses. The three buttons on the right side of the remote will operate a second set of one or more receiver units. •Device A/B ON: Turns on any receiver unit set to the same channel as this remote control. •Device A/B OFF: Turns off any receiver unit set to the same channel as this remote control. •Device A/B DIM: Activates the DIM feature for any receiver unit set to the same channel as this remote control. Note: Pressing the DIM button steps through five brightness levels. 6005 REMOTE CONTROL TX FCC Model designation 6005-TX FCC ID#: BJ4-WRC6005TX IC#: Canada: 3984A-6005TX 6005 Description One A23 battery powers this unit. The input power is connected to a micro controller and the remaining circuit through a key selection. Power is only applied to the circuit during a key press. When a key is pressed, the micro controller switches power on to the transmitter section and supplies a digital code to the RF section of the circuit, which transmits the code. The dip switch controls the encoding of the digital signal. Each 4 position dip switch acts independently allowing two separate devices to be controlled independently by this remote. Additionally, the command button pressed (ON, OFF, DIM, DIM+, DIM-) also determine the code. Not all commands are available on all variations of this remote control. The LED indicates when the transmitter is active and in use. The output of the encoder chip goes through the oscillator/modulator stage. A SAW locks the frequency, which is tuned for 315M Hz. The encoded signal is then sent through the “on board” antenna trace on the PCB and the RF output is transmitted into the air. The 6005 remote will be produced in 3 versions. The 8-button (6005-8TX), 6-button (6005-6TX) and 4-button (6005-4TX) versions are electrically the same. However, they have a different number of buttons available to the user depending on the case design.
