Requires two 9V (6LR61) alkalinebatteries (Not included.) Adult assembly required for battery installation. Tool needed for battery installation: Phillips screwdriver (not included). Walkie-Talkies Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage: •Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). •Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. •Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak. •Never short-circuit the battery terminals. •Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended. •Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. •Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging. •If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision. BATTERY INSTALLATION • Locate the battery compartment on the back of each walkie-talkie. • Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screw- driver. Remove the battery compartment door. • Insert one 9V (6LR61) alkalinebattery into each walkie-talkie. • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. Hints: -We recommend using alkalinebatteries for longer life. - When sound becomes faint or walkie-talkie does not work, it’s time for an adult to replace the batteries! Battery Compartment Door Back View Shown Actual Size 9V (6LR61) 2 BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION LET’S TALK ACTION! 3 • Slide the power switch on top of each walkie-talkie to theposition to turn it on or to theposition to turn it off. • Turn the mission dial to choose one of six different missions. • Press and hold the top (mission) talk button to transmit a message from Billy Blazes™ or Rocky Canyon™ about the chosen mission to the other walkie-talkie. • Press and hold the bottom (normal) talk button to use like a regular walkie- talkie and transmit your own messages. Never immerse the walkie-talkie. • Keep water, sand and dirt off of this toy. • Do not drop this toy on a hard surface. • This product contains no consumer replaceable parts. Do not take this toy apart. CARE TROUBLE SHOOTING 4 Interference from car engines, powerlines, fluorescent lights, electric motors or dimmer switches. Battery power is low Unit does not transmit well through hills, trees, buildings or crowds of people. Battery power is low. Change your location or point the antenna in different directions. Replace the exhausted battery with a new 9V battery (see page 2). Use walkie-talkie at a higher location or in a more open and flat area. Operational Description

FCC ID: CCTC4778 Circuit Description The 27.145MHz crystal oscillator drives the base of Q4 the final/buffer amplifier. The modulation provided by Mic. The output of Q4 has the matching network consisting of L1 and C13 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground and Power Source The antenna consists of a 13.5cm long telescoping chrome over brass tubing. There is no external ground connection. The ground is only that of the printed circuit board. Electric current is supplied by a 9 Volt (“6F22” size battery x 1) primary battery

Please revise and resend. 2. 15.19 Statement - I realize it appears in the manual. You will need to also send a separate request that the FCC allow this to be placed in the manual and forwhat reasons. Normally they insist on this being on the label if the device is larger than the palm. This looks pretty small, so please just send a statement to me. Thanks.
