Nemko San Diego Nemko USA Inc. (West Coast Operations), 2210 Faraday Ave. Suite 150, Carlsbad, CA 92008, USA TEL +1 760 444 3500 FAX +1 760 444 3005 nemko.com June 28, 2021 Nemko North America Inc. Attn: Director of Certification 303 River Road Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1V 1H2 Use of combined radio reports for brand new certification (CFD5GRUDB3) per FCC Inquiry 153015 and FCC response. Also follows KDB 484586 D01 Clause 3 for reuse of data Background: The DB 5G RU already has FCC approval (CFD5GRUDB), however, due to a recent change, the power output for the LTE n66 band has been increased from 40W to 60W and an OBW addition of 25MHz for LTE n70 has been added. Therefore, Fujitsu needs a brand-new FCC ID and Limited Testing based on the FCC response on 05/14/2021: From FCC: For the new filing, all test reports are required. For the n66 band at 60W you must perform a complete retest. For the n70 band at 40W portion you must do testing for the 25 MHz BW. For the n70 band you may include the test data for 5 MHz BW, 10 MHz BW, and 20 MHz BW from the previously certified product. The test report must clearly document what data is reused and the original FCC ID. Report’s submittal and use of each report for this certification: Nemko Report. – As per the test plan and based on the FCC guidance Nemko did full testing on Band n66 and limited testing (only 25MHZ BW) for Band n70 and this is reported in Nemko radio report 443812-TRFWL (FCC Part 27). Test results for Band n70 for all the other BW (5MHZ/10MHZ and 20MHz) will be leveraged from Intertek reports since the product is identical and all testing is representative. Intertek Report(s). – As described above the only usable/valid data for this new certification will be from Band n70 with 5MHz BW, 10MHz BW & 20 MHz BW from the following reports: REPORT NUMBER 104509072LEX-004 (1 Of 6) REPORT NUMBER 104509072LEX-004 (2 Of 6) REPORT NUMBER 104509072LEX-004 (3 Of 6) REPORT NUMBER 104509072LEX-004 (4 Of 6) REPORT NUMBER 104509072LEX-004 (5 Of 6) REPORT NUMBER 104509072LEX-004 (6 Of 6) -------------------------------------------------------------- Juan M. Operational Description

Fujitsu Dual-Band RU Operation Description The Radio Unit (RU) is one of the components to configure the 5G RAN mobile communication system. The RU is controlled by the BBU and operating together with the BBU. Most of the operation and maintenance works are performed from the maintenance center through the BBU in the network. During normal operation, the RU requires no intrusive maintenance work by maintenance personnel. The RU is designed to be replaced as a whole unit with a spare RU when it is identified as faulty. The RU has the following features: β€’ Two mid-band frequencies - Bands n66 and n70 β€’ Four antenna ports that are shared across the frequency bands β€’ One 10Gbps eCPRI optical port for communication to the BBU/Distributed Unit β€’ One Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) port β€’ One DC power port for connection to -48vDC power source 1.15 MHz is not currently supported
