Brief product description The Luxon Wireless 2450 can be added to the Luxon e-HID ballast or fixture. It regulates the communication between the ballast/fixture and the Luxon Light Controller (LLC). Positioning The Luxon Wireless 2450 will be mounted to a cover of a Luxon e-HID ballast or fixture Note: 1) This transmitter should only be used or installed at locations where there is at least 20cm separation distance between the antenna and all persons. This is to comply with FCC RF exposure requirements for mobile transmitting devices. 2) The Luxon Wireless 2450 shall never be installed inside a metal power cabinet. The modular transmitter nR2401A has no own power supply regulation and requires an input voltage of 3.3 Vdc. The voltage is delivered by the Luxon Wireless 2450 PCB. See “06_Circuit diagram CGDLW2450.pdf”. During testing this Luxon Wireless 2450 PCB in turn was powered by a mains adapter with an output power of +12 VDC. An integrated antenna is applied see exhibit “04_Antenna information CGDLW2450.pdf”. 5. The EUT was tested in a standalone configuration as mentioned under requirement 3. This PCB has a connector for a mains plug adaptor for having supply. To prevent the PCBs from damaging the devices are placed in a plastic enclosure see “13_Installation Manual Luxon Wireless 2450 CGDLW2450.pdf” and “12_10122701.p01_Nedap Luxon Wireless 2450_Photo Report_Testsetup CGD2450.pdf”. 6.
