Please provide internal photographs of this device that show the construction, the component placement on the chassis and the chassis assembly as prescribed in Section 2.1033(b)(7) of the FCC Rules. Only close-up photos of the internal printed circuit boards are provided to show component placement on these boards. Please confirm that the radiated emissions tests were performed with the optional AC adapter and the battery powering the EUT. The test method for radiated emissions tests, Section 3.1.1 of the test report on page 8 does not indicate that the AC adapter was used on these measurements. If it wasn't, please investigate the emission levels and report the worst case. If it was used, please confirm testing was performed with the AC adapter. 3. The operational description of this device does not mention the optional AC adapter for powering this transmitter. Please amend the operational description accordingly. Both the schematic diagrams and the users manual on page 3 mention/show the use of an AC adapter for powering this transmitter. 4. For your information - Section 15.235 of the Rules requires measurement of the bandwidth at the 26 dB point below the maximum level of the unmodulated fundamental emission or to the 15.209 limits. Since the output power of this transmitter is so low, the device complies at the 20 dB points where it was incorrectly measured. No reply to this item is required. FCC ID: CIXAL2124002 Circuit Description The 49.86 and 49.4MHz crystal oscillator drives the base of Q3 the final/buffer amplifier. The modulation provided by Mic. The output of Q3 has the matching network consisting of L1 and C17 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground and Power Source The antenna consists of a 21.5cm long telescoping chrome over brass tubing. There is no external ground connection. The ground is only that of the printed circuit board. Electric current is supplied by a 9 Volt (“6F22” size battery x 1) primary battery
