This WLAN/Bluetooth co-existence mechanism is to ensure that the WLAN and Bluetooth transmitters would not simultaneously operate. Therefore, WLAN and Bluetooth antenna in TOSHIBA LT170 should not be considered to be able to transmit simultaneously. Though the users can use WLAN and Bluetooth simultaneously, but the real situation is that WLAN and Bluetooth are used by time sharing and no overlap transmission. FCC ID: CJ6PD387LB Report No.: RF111006C11 Operational Description This device is a Tablet PC, which operates in 2.4GHz band for both WLAN and Bluetooth functions; the maximum data rate could be up to 150Mbps which OFDM technique. If the signal to noise radio is too poor which could not support 150Mbps, the 11Mbps data rate with DSSS technique will be applied. The transmitter of the EUT is powered by the 5Vdc adapter or host equipment or 3.7Vdc from batteries. The antenna is PIFA antenna without antenna connectors. The WLAN and Bluetooth antenna should not be considered to be able to transmit simultaneously as the device shared the same antenna and controlled by TDD method.
