The average efficiency of Low band is around 30%. •High band average efficiency is around 50%. •For better antenna development and production assembly , top and bottom types of housing is recommended. •ET would need more input from Calamp regarding the mechanical housing design. •Suggest to modify Calamp’s existing top and bottom types housing for the next antenna design cycle. Operational Description

LMU TC Operational Description The “LMU-TC” or “LMU-2000 Beacon” adds a new 2.4GHz radio onto an existing LMU-2000 design. The original LMU-2000 design contains a GSM radio that is already certified with FCCID: XPYLEONG100 and ICID: 8595A-LEONG100 The original LMU-2000 is a mobile device that resides in private, commercial or government vehicles used for asset tracking. It is a single box enclosure incorporating a processor, a GPS receiver, a wireless data modem, and a vehicle- rated power supply. The LMU also supports inputs and outputs to monitor and react to the vehicular environment and/or driver actions. The new Beacon radio feature is designed by Transcore Amtech Inc and operates on 2452, 2472, 2477 and 2482 MHz bands.The new embedded radio that will receive “PING” requests from another Transcore product to provide location information directly from the LMU-2000 design. When it receives a “PING” it will send the requested data back to the product that issued the “PING”.
