There is no mention of Parts List, Tune-Up Procedure or Operational Description. Please confirm that none of these additional Exhibits are to be considered Confidential. 2.) The Label for this device is incorrect. Please correct according to the format listed in Part 2 of the Rules: example - “FCC ID: XXXxxxx.’ 3.) Please confirm if the RF power target values HAM 0 and HAM 15 are the same as PLC = 0 and PLC = 15. 4.) The Form 731 shows both RF conducted and EIRP power in watts. Please be advised that only EIRP will be shown on the Grant for this Part 24 device. 5.) Is this product a tri-band device? If so, then it will be necessary to provide an attestation that only US bands of operation are permitted. 6.) Please provide a listing of all manufacturers’ supplied accessories for this device. 7.) Tune-up Procedure for TG7 During manufacturing each phone will be individually calibrated. The measurement is done in a fully calibrated setup, which is based on a R&S CMU 200 base station simulator (system tester). Furthermore, the highest power level is verified afterwards in a call measurement on three channels (low, mid and high). The target antenna power for GSM 900 is +33dBm; for DCS 1800 and PCS 1900 is +29dBm. Procedure: 1. Set the phone to operational voltage and on one certain channel in a special service mode by means of company proprietary software. 2. The actual power is measured at several power levels. 3. The gain factors of each individual phone are adjusted until the target value is met. The appropriate gain control settings are stored in each phone individually (for each power level). The user has no possibility to change these settings later on. Modulation System The radio part realizes the conversion of the GMSK-HF-signals from the antenna to the baseband and vice versa. In receive direction, the signals are splitted into I- and Q-components and led to the D/Aconverter of the logic part. In transmit direction, the GMSK-signal is generated by modulating the baseband I- and Q-signals within an Up-conversion Modulation Phase Locked Loop. After that the signals are amplified by the power amplifier. Transmitter and Receiver are never active at the same time. Simultaneous receiving and transmission in two or even three bands is impossible. However, monitoring can be done independent from the receive and transmit band (RX- and TX timeslot of the band), respectively. The RF-part is designed for Multi-band operation (GSM900,DCS1800,PCS1900) supporting GPRS functionality up to multi class 8. Where special accessories, such as shielded cables and/or special connectors are required to enable an unintentional or intentional radiator to comply with the emission limits in this part, the equipment must be marketed with, i.e. shipped and sold with, those special accessories. However, in lieu of shipping or packaging the special accessories with the unintentional or intentional radiator, the responsible party may employ other methods of ensuring that the special accessories are provided to the consumer, without additional charge. Information detailing any alternative method used to supply the special accessories for a grant of equipment authorization or retained in the verification records, as appropriate. The party responsible for the equipment, as detailed in § 2.909 of this chapter, shall ensure that these special accessories are provided with the equipment. The instruction manual for such devices shall include appropriate instructions on the first page of text concerned with the installation of the device that these special accessories must be used with the device.
