This exhibit is provided electronically to the vehicle manufacturer after submission. The compliance statement for the TPM Receiver (FCC ID: GQ4-44T) will be integrated by the OEM into the vehicle owner’s manual. It will read: This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules, and with RSS-210 of Industry Canada. TRW Automotive Legal name here February 5, 2010 TEE 24175 Research Dr. Farmington Hills, MI 48335-2642 Tel 248.478.7210 Fax 248.699.4241 RE: Certification for HKMC MY11 FSK 315MHz LCCI Low Line Transmitter Model #: 225816 101 FCC ID: GQ4-44T Canada IC: 1470A-25T GENERAL DESCRIPTION This transmitter is a t ransmitter device with tire valve, which is mounted in the valve hole of the wheel rim and transmits the pressure and temperature inside the tire, the battery voltage of the transmitter, and the tire identification code (ID) at no rmal and abnormal condition with the radio wave (RF) that conforms to the used area. Also this device has a countermeasure function such as the random delay of transmission time so that the RF signal from each tire will not interfere due to the simultaneous transmission. The transmitter device also has a Low Frequency (LF) receiver. This receiver supports Low Frequency (LF) m agnetic field communi cations allowing the changing of measurement/monitoring states o f the transmitter b y commands sent via the TPM diag nostic tool. The RF sig nal operates at 315MHz and uses FSK M anchester code m odulation. 225816-101 transmits 4 RF p ackets every 200 seconds. Description of Operations Mode of Operation Explanation Frequency of Transmission Storage Mode No transmission. Measures temperature & pressure 4 words when activation occurs with TPM diagnostic tool Normal Mode Measures temperature and pressure. Transmits periodically. Enters this mode from storage when pressure goes above threshold.  4 words every 210 seconds  4 words when activation occurs with TPM diagnostic tool Alert Mode Transmits when: a) significant pressure delta detected b) high temperature is detected 8 words every 4 seconds for 1 minute

Introduction This TRW Transmitter was tested for compliance with FCC Regulations, Part 15, adopted under Docket 87-389, April 18, 1989 as subsequently amended, and with Industry Canada RSS-210/Gen, Issue 7, June 2007. Tests were performed at the University of Michigan Radiation Laboratory Willow Run Test Range following the procedures described in ANSI C63.4-2003 "Methods of Measurement of Radio-Noise Emissions from Low-Voltage Electrical and Electronic Equipment in the Range of 9 kHz to 40 GHz". The Site description and attenuation characteristics of the Open Site facility are on file with FCC Laboratory, Columbia, Maryland (FCC Reg. No: 91050) and with Industry Canada, Ottawa, ON (File Ref. No: IC 2057A-1). 2. Equipment Used The test equipment commonly used in our facility is listed in Table 2.1. Except where indicated as a pre- test, monitoring, or support device; all equipment listed below is a part of the University of Michigan Radiation Laboratory (UMRL) quality system. This quality system has been established to ensure all equipment has a clearly identifiable classification, calibration expiry date, and that all calibrations are traceable to national standards.
