Block Diagram

The 24-64436 PCB is logically divided into two parts: a digital/analog system and a radio. Both are located on the same PCB, however are physically separate from each other. The Figures 1 and 2 below depicts a block diagram of the entire PCB system. The on-board radio (which is being type approved) is shown here as only one of the blocks. Provided - see drawing ‘21-64436-XX Exploded Assy with Shield’ 2. The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs. Provided - see schematic drawing ‘Schematic 17-64436-01r2.pdf’, sheet 4, sections A-1 through A-6, component U3 (Lighthouse ASIC). 3. The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation. Power supply regulation is provided. For voltage regulator, see schematic drawing “Schematic 17-64436-01r2.pdf”, sheet 14, sections A-1, A2, B-1, and B-2, components U14, C11, C15, C17, C18, C117, R25, C28, Q10, R220, L13, C191, R218, R219, C43, and TL2. Additional switching and isolation are provided on sheet 5, sections D-5, D-6, and D-7, components R126, R134, Q301, C230, C301, R225, Q21, C302, L301, C304, C303, B302, C326, B303, C306, and C305, and on sheet 7, sections D-6 and D-7, components U4, C80, C106, R20, C79, and Q4. 4. The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of Section 15.203 and 15.204(c). The antenna must either be permanently attached or employ a “unique” antenna. See schematic drawing ‘Schematic 17-64436-01r2.pdf’, sheet 7, section C-8. The antenna connections to the module (J1, J2) will be internal to the products utilizing the module and will therefore be non-user accessible. 5. The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration. Confirmed, see FCC Test Report. 6. The modular transmitter must be labeled with its own FCC ID number. Confirmed, see Label Drawing ‘69-62653-01.pdf’ 7. The modular transmitter must comply with any specific rule or operating requirements applicable to the transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements. A copy of these instructions must be included in the application for equipment authorization Confirmed, see ‘Main Terminal Module Integration Guide’ 8.
