Re Q1: In the proposed FCC ID label format and location, the FCC ID label is proposed to be placed on the base unit. When the Cordless Phone system is applied for system approval, the FCC ID label is required to be placed on the hand set as well. In addition, the proposed FCC ID label does not contain information required under section 15.214( c ) of FCC rules. Please provide revised FCC ID label format and proposed FCC ID label location. Please see revised FCC ID label. Re Q2: The max. measured hand set conducted output power is 35.6mW which is above SAR low threshold power requirement. SAR evaluation is required if there is no considering of source-based average. If the handset and base are utilizing source-based averaging, please provide duty cycle plots to state the max. duty cycle factor and provide technical description to justify the source- based averaging. As mentioned in revised Theory of Operation, the device is using DTMF(Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) modulation with a 50%/50% duty cycle. Re Q3: MPE estimate is included in the test report to address RF exposure compliance for base and handset unit. The base unit is considered as mobile device per section 2.1091 of FCC rules. However, the handset is considered as portable device per section 2.1093 of FCC rules and using MPE estimate to justify RF exposure for portable device is not applicable. Please remove relate information for handset in the MPE estimate. Please see Page 21 of FCC Report - Part 1 of 3. Re Q4: In the theory of operation, there is no information provided to address 15.214(d) requirements. Please refer to Q2 - Revised Theory of Operation. Re Q5: In the internal photos, it looks like only handset portion of internal photos were provided. If internal photos of base unit is included in internal photos, please indicate which photos are for handset and which photos are for base unit. Please see revised Internal Photos. Re Q6: Page 31 of user manual, RF exposure warning statement does not indicate 20cm separation distance is required for base unit. Please provide revised user manual to address this issue.
