Digimarc SDP1100 Declaration of Conformity Model: DG420i Printers conform to the following specification: NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: β€’ Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. β€’ Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver. β€’ Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that which the receiver is connected. β€’ Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Operational Description

The DG420I printer is based on P310i printer station where a flip over has been added to allow printing on both sides of the card. The DG420I has an LCD display (2 lines of 16 characters) to dialogue with the user. This printer has a metal enclosure also there is a rejected box where printer can eject mis-encoded cards. The DG420i printer is delivered to customer without User Manual. The DG420I is a printer that can print color or monochrome images on plastic cards (ISO 7810 ID-1, "CR-80 ") at 300 dots per inch (DPI) resolution. It offers a range of printing capabilities including multi-panel color, multi-panel monochrome, and standard continuous monochrome ribbon capability. This printer model includes RFID ribbon detection system (i Series Technology) which employs one stationnary RFID board emitting a continuous 13.56MHz and a specific core with transponder and circular antenna molded in the white flange, enhanced color processing, advanced High Color ribbon technology, and utilizes an easy-to-use i Series driver with InstallShield based wizard. Customer specific modifications to this OEM printer include: modified feeder rollers, modified dial arm, modified base plate to support Ethernet, modified flipper with different spring, capability to feed Digimarc DSC plastic cards (CR-80 size), and capability to print with YMCUVK & YMCUVK ribbons.
