Trimble Navigation Limited 935 Stewart Drive Sunnyvale, CA 94085 (408) 481-8000 April 9, 2012 To Whom It May Concern, This document is intended to explain how we the Applicant (Trimble Navigation Ltd.) intend to fulfill the labeling requirements for the EWUT, Limited Modular Approval application, FCC ID: JUP-76577WFBT, IC: 1756A-76577WFBT. The EUT is a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module built by Murata, model LBEE19NJZC. This module has no shields or its own label, so these requirements will be met when integrated in the host units. We will integrate this module in two host units, Trimble models R10 and SPS985. In order to comply with FCC Part 15.212, Public Notice DA 00-1407, and Industry Canada’s RSS- Gen, the host units will be labeled with the module’s certification numbers as follows: CONTAINS FCC ID: JUP-76577WFBT CONTAINST IC: 1756A-76577WFBT The two host units, R10 and SPS985, come in a variety of configurations (all containing the LBEE19NJZC module and labeled with the module certification numbers). The label artwork for these configurations is documented in “86034-XX-2D-revA.pdf” and “84469-91r03AW.pdf”. For your convenience we have reproduced the artwork as an Appendix I of this document. Due to very limited space on the label, we cannot fit additional information that might aid identification of approved radios inside the host unit, but have opted to provide only the necessary information per FCC and IC guidelines and regulations. Any additional information will be included in the host unit User Manual. If you have any questions about products R10 and SPS985 and their integrated radios, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
