HOL DIR DIE APP Mit der kostenlosen ORTOVOX APP (Apple iOS & Android) kannst du die folgenden Punkte selbstständig durchführen: • Regelmäßige Software Aktualisierung (dringend empfohlen!) • Garantieverlängerung auf 5 Jahre • Geräte-Registrierung (für sicherheitsrelevante Informationen) • Änderung der Geräteinstellungen WENN EINE ANDERE WARNUNG ANGEZEIGT WIRD: • Entferne dich 5 Meter von elektronischen oder metallischen Gegenständen • Schalte das Gerät aus und wieder ein • Bei erneuter Warnung muss das Gerät überprüft werden (siehe SERVICE) KOMPASS KALIBRIERUNG Das Gerät zeigt dir an, wenn du den Kompass kalibrieren musst. Entferne dich mehr als 5 Meter von magnetischen, metallischen und elektronischen Gegenständen. Halte das Gerät waagerecht, drehe es mehrmals im Uhrzeigersinn und danach um die beiden anderen Achsen bis die Anzeige verschwindet. BATTERIE LADEN Lade das Gerät mit dem mitgelieferten USB Kabel direkt an einer Stromquelle (z.B. Laptop) oder mit einem zusätzlichen USB-Netzstecker (z.B. vom Smartphone) an einer Steckdose. Trenne es nach dem Laden zeitnah von der Stromquelle und verschließe den Ladenanschluss gründlich mit der Gummiabde- ckung. Unter 0 °C ist Laden nicht möglich. Während dem Ladevorgang kann das Gerät nicht senden oder suchen. TIPP: Um die Batterieleistung zu optimieren, vermeide häufiges kurzes Laden. Lade das Gerät zum Beispiel erst, wenn die Ladung unter 80% beträgt. 6 Kompass- kalibrierung notwendig Sendefunktion beeinträchtigt LAGERUNG Lagere das Gerät bei Zimmertemperatur an einem trockenen Ort, ohne direkter Sonneneinstrahlung. Vor einer mehrmonatigen Einlagerung, muss die Batterie auf 100% geladen werden. Ein eingelagertes Gerät muss nach spätestens 10 Monaten erneut vollgeladen werden. GRUPPEN-CHECK Vor jeder Tour oder Abfahrt muss jedes Geräte der Gruppe einzeln geprüft werden. Im GROUP CHECK Modus testest du, ob die anderen Geräte korrekt senden. Zum Aktivieren, drücke nach dem Einschalten die MARKIER Taste. Die Prüfdistanz sollte 1 m, der Abstand zwischen den Personen mindestens 3 m betragen. Das Gerät zeigt das Testergebnis und die gemessene Distanz an. IM SUCHMODUS müssen mögliche Störquellen mindestens 50 cm vom Gerät entfernt sein. Idealerweise schaltest du alle anderen elektroni- schen Geräte aus. SENDEMODUS Der Sendemodus ist die normale Betriebsart im Gelände mit Lawinenrisiko. Befindet sich der Kipp-Schalter in der Position SEND, erscheint die Sendeanzeige. Um Strom zu sparen, wird diese Anzeige bei Dunkelheit (Gerät im Tragesystem) ausgeblendet, wobei das Gerät weitersendet. Helligkeit oder das Drücken einer Taste aktiviert die Anzeige. TRAGEWEISE Befestige die Sicherungsschlaufe in der Öse unten am Gerät. Wir empfehlen das Tragen im Tragesystem, wobei das Gerät mit dem Display zum Körper und dem Kippschalter voran eingeschoben wird. Der Schnellverschluss und die Bauchgurtschnalle müssen gut verschlossen und die Sicherungsschlaufe im Karabiner eingehängt sein. Das Tragesystem muss stets von einer Bekleidungsschicht überdeckt sein.
