The accessories are not clearly defined in the manual. Also, the some of the accessories tested are not those listed in the manual. For example the manual lists Head set HDS-3, while the SAR report states HDB-4 headset was tested. The SAR report states a model number for the strap as MBA-8, yet the manual gives no model number. The manual must reflect the accessories approved for SAR. Please define the accessories allowed for use with this device (i.e., correct the manual to reflect the headset tested, etc). 2 The Tune up procedure says the max. power is 29.5dBm (less than one watt), however, the manual says the device can be up to 2 W. Power references must be consistent in the application documentation. Please provide documents which contain the same referenced power levels. 3 The validation dipole was calibrated n Feb 2001. The cal due date is listed as Feb 2003. Please verify that the dipole validation kit is on a two year cycle. There will be actually four different headsets and one loopset available for LJPNPM-6. Four of these (HDS-3, HDB-4, HS-5 and LPS-4) have similar connector with the same pins connecting to a phone and therefore considered similar in the sense of RF exposure. HS-1C is using more pins for connection and it has now been measured separately. Results are submitted as a supplemental SAR report. A revised version of user guide is uploaded. However, since all material was not available at this time, actual implementation of listing these accessories may vary in final version. 2 The Tune up procedure says the max. power is 29.5dBm (less than one watt), however, the manual says the device can be up to 2 W. Power references must be consistent in the application documentation. Please provide documents which contain the same referenced power levels. This device includes also frequency bands not able to operate in US and thus not part in this filing. One of these is GSM900, which indeed can have power output up to 2 Watts. For an owner, it is available when roaming in appropriate network. 3 The validation dipole was calibrated n Feb 2001. The cal due date is listed as Feb 2003. Please verify that the dipole validation kit is on a two year cycle. Dipole validation kit calibration cycle is two years per manufacturer’s instructions.

We start at 1 m high with vertical receiving antenna and rotate the dish continuously. During rotation we use the antenna lift system to vary the high from 1 to 4 m. So we find maximum radiation output. At this points we do manual re-measurements. After this we do the same measurements in horizontal position of the receiving antenna. This (horizontal and vertical) is made for all the three planes of the test sample. We use the maximum received results.
