American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 October 22, 2004 RE: FCC ID: LJPPD-1_ATCB001829 Attention: Kare Oksanen I have a few comments on this Application. Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. FYI - Please note the part 15 block diagrams are to have the clock frequencies and paths located on the diagram. No action is required at this time as the first page of the schematics is a reasonable addition to the block diagram as it gives frequencies. 2. Please note that it is not clear where on the device the Bluetooth transmitter is located. It appears as if the BT rf section is in the lower left corner of the first photo on page 4 of the internal photo exhibit, however this is not known. Please clearly identify the BT rf section on the internal photos. Also, there appears to be a shielded area on the board just to the left of the section mentioned above. Is this the memory card slot shown in the manual? Please clarify. 3. Please note that while you have provided a confidentiality request for Industry Canada, no request for FCC confidentiality IAW 0.459 has been provided. If FCC confidentiality is requested, please provide a confidentiality request letter IAW 0.459 of CFR 47. 4. FYI – as this is a Bluetooth device operating under 2mW, you can remove the non-collocation statement from the manual if desired. Dennis Ward mailto:[email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued. Please do not respond to this correspondence using the email reply button. In order for your response to be processed expeditiously, you must submit your documents through the AmericanTCB.com website. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted. Any questions about the content of this correspondence should be directed to the sender.

RESPONSE Kare Oksanen 25 th Oct 2004 1. FYI - Please note the part 15 block diagrams are to have the clock frequencies and paths located on the diagram. No action is required at this time as the first page of the schematics is a reasonable addition to the block diagram as it gives frequencies. Acknowledged. I have now uploaded new internal photograph, which identifies BT section. We also confirm that metallic plate right of the BT section is MMC/SD card reader slot, not a shield. 3. Please note that while you have provided a confidentiality request for Industry Canada, no request for FCC confidentiality IAW 0.459 has been provided. If FCC confidentiality is requested, please provide a confidentiality request letter IAW 0.459 of CFR 47. This document was accidentialy left out. It is now uploaded into your server. 4. FYI – as this is a Bluetooth device operating under 2mW, you can remove the non-collocation statement from the manual if desired. We will remove this statement in the future revision.
