Attn: Javier García López Subject: Statement regarding digital modulation usage – WCS (Wireless Current Sensor) Dear Sir, In reference to the certification process of the WCS - Wireless Current Sensor (66900-0953-70), identified under FCC ID: LLB-095370 and IC: 4546A-095370, we would like to clarify the following regarding the use of LoRa technology. The device operates using a radio modulation scheme at the physical layer that may be identified as LoRa-type modulation. The WCS transmits and receives radio signals using CSS modulation. However, the device does not implement the LoRaWAN protocol stack or any LoRaWAN- compliant networking functionality. No LoRaWAN features such as network layer, MAC layer procedures, or interoperability with LoRaWAN networks are supported. Therefore, while LoRa-like modulation may be used at the physical layer, the WCS product does not implement a full LoRaWAN stack / technology. For this reason, WCS datasheet does not formally specify the usage of LoRa. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any additional technical clarification.
