Getting Started • 1 1. GETTING STARTED 1.1 About This Manual This manual contains important operation, maintenance, and safety information for the DSP506, DSP506XF, DSP508, and DSP508XF sensors. It is supplemented by the alignment system console operation manual. Read and become familiar with the contents of these publications. A calibrated set of DSP506, or DSP508, Series Sensors can be used with any Hunter aligner using WinAlign® software version 7.1 or higher. A calibrated set of DSP506XF, or DSP508XF Series Sensors can be used with any Hunter aligner equipped with a USB Electronic Assembly using WinAlign® software version 7.1 or higher. A calibrated set of DSP506, or DSP508, Series Sensors can be used with 511 Aligners that have version 2.3 (or above) software. The Hunter Radio 45-1177 meets all of the requirements as described below: 1. The radio has an RF shield. 2. All inputs and outputs of the radio interface are buffered. 3. The radio contains an on-board regulator. The regulator powers all powered components on the radio. 4. The antenna is an integral part of the printed circuit board artwork. 5. The radio was tested as a stand-alone unit. There were no special cables or noise suppression devices used. 6. The FCC ID number for the radio is silk-screened on the radio printed circuit board.
