Single Modular approval.
This grant is valid only when the module is sold to OEM integrators. The module antenna(s) must be installed to meet the RF exposure compliance separation distance of 20 cm and any additional testing and authorization process as required.
The module grantee is responsible for providing the documentation to the system integrator on restrictions of use, for continuing compliance of the module.
The host integrator must follow the integration instructions provided by the module manufacturer and ensure that the composite-system end product complies with the FCC requirements by a technical assessment or evaluation to the FCC rules and to KDB Publication 996369.
The host integrator installing this module into their product must ensure that the final composite product complies with the FCC requirements by a technical assessment or evaluation to the FCC rules, including the transmitter operation and should refer to guidance in KDB 996369. Installation of this device into specific final products may require the submission of a Class II permissive change application containing data pertinent to RF Exposure, emissions and host/module authentication, or new application if appropriate.
The maximum antenna gain including cable loss for compliance with radiated power limits, RF exposure requirements and the categorical exclusion requirements of 2.1091 is 3.0 dBi for 700 MHz bands, 3.0 dBi for 850 MHz bands, 3.0 dBi for the 1900 MHz bands, 6.0 dBi for the 1700 MHz bands 6.0 dBi for 1800 MHz band.
Multi-transmitter configurations, supporting simultaneous transmission, have not been evaluated and shall be evaluated according to KDB Publication 447498 and §2.947(f) composite system and §2.1 end product terms and concepts.
The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use. This module can only be used with a host antenna circuit trace layout design in strict compliance with the OEM instructions provided.
This device is to be used only for mobile and fixed applications and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter evaluation procedures as documented in this filing. End-users and installers must be provided with antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
