11Mbps Wireless Ethernet Adapter User’s Manual Version 1.0 June 26, 2003 11Mbps Wireless Ethernet Adapter User's Manual 2 FCC Warning This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: y Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. y Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. y Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. y Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Operational Description

Operational Description EUT is a 11b wireless Ethernet Converter with 11 channels. This device provided four kind of transmitting speed 1,2,5.5 and 11Mbps. The device of RF carrier is DQPSK, DB PSK and CCK. The device adapts direct sequence spread spectrum modulation. The Soldered on PCB antenna was provides diversity function to improve the receiving function. This 11b wireless Ethernet Converter is an IEEE 802.11b Wireless LAN adapter. It allows your computer to connect to a wireless network and to share resources, such as files or printers without being bound to the network wires. Operation in 2.4GHz Direst Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) radio transmission, the 11b wireless Ethernet Converter transfers data at speeds up to 64/128-bit Wired Equivalent Protection (WEP) algorithm is used. In addition, its standard compliance ensures that it can communicate with any 802.11b network.
