Your Infocast is a convenient and compact way to view or play your favorite media—music, photos, video, or a mix of all of these. Because the Infocast connects to the Internet, it's always on and the content is always fresh. Internet-based content is free. There are no subscription fees. Even if you don't have an Internet connection, you can still insert a memory card or USB flash drive and view your favorite photos and videos or listen to your music. This guide and the Quick Setup Guide walk you through connecting, setting up, and customizing your Infocast. Most questions you’ll have answered in these pages as you get acquainted your new Internet media display. Safety information Always follow these basic safety precautions when using your Infocast. This will reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury. Warning • To reduce the risk of fire or shock hazard, do not expose your Infocast to rain or moisture and unplug it during lightning storms. • To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. • There is a risk of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. To prevent it from falling, do not place it on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. Keep your Infocast away from strong magnets, heat sources, direct sunlight, and excessive dust. Installation—Make sure that your Infocast is used in accordance with the instructions and illustrations provided in this manual. Objects and liquids—Do not push objects of any kind into your Infocast through openings. Do not spill or spray liquid of any kind on or in your Infocast (this may result in a fire or electric shock). Do not place anything heavy on your Infocast. To ensure proper ventilation and proper operation, never cover or block the slots and openings with a cloth or other material. Disassembly—Do not attempt to disassemble your Infocast. There is a risk of electric shock. Contact qualified service personnel if your Infocast is in need of repair. Cleaning your Infocast—When cleaning, make sure your Infocast is unplugged from the power source. Use the supplied cleaning cloth, or a cloth slightly dampened with water for cleaning the exterior of your Infocast only.
