C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Operational Description1 (1).doc Operational Description Section 2.1033(b)(4) of the 47 CFR states: โ€œA brief description of the circuit functions of the device along with a statement describing how the device operates. This statement should contain a description of the ground system and antenna, if any, used with the device.โ€ Transmitter is by battery operation for single alone system. Receiver will using AC power source. What does this mean? Describe the EUT completely. What is it? (in plain English as well as in technical terms). Give functional description. The Users Manual is not a substitute for the Operational Description. Always describe the signal such as modulation type, pulse repetition rate, signal type and information being sent. - A complete functional description of the unit should be submitted. This description should include the intended mounting or use configuration. For example, is the unit (to be) fixed, mobile or portable? The transmitter is portable, the Receiver will be mobile. - Explain any transmit or modulation duty cycles. Itโ€™s belong AM/ASK modulation 100% by Manchester coding 33/66 duty cycle. - Describe the antenna intended for use with device. Transmitter is a PCB loop direction antenna for low power transmit. The fundamental frequency of transmitter emitted is due to a press on button of the EUT. The emitting time of fundamental frequency is less than 5 seconds pursuant to FCC Part 15.231(a). There are security codes for avoiding the possibility of duplicating codes in adjacent systems. The coding must be matching with the companion receiver. While testing the EUT was adjusted at a position which transmit the maximum emission. 1.3 Description of Support Equipment The EUT itself forms a system. No support equipment is requited for its normal operation. Test Report -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4/20 Report No.: G2115770 (Tx) Training Research Co., Ltd., TEL: 886-2-26935155,Fax: 886-2-26934440 1.4 Test Procedure All measurements contained in this report were performed according to the techniques described in measurement procedure of ANSI C63.4 1992 section 13 1.5 Location of the Test Site The radiated emissions measurements required by the rules were performed on the three- meter, Anechoic Chamber (Registration Number: 93906) maintained by Training Research Co., Ltd. 1F, No. 2, Lane 194, Huan-Ho Street, Hsichih, Taipei Hsien 221, Taiwan, R.O.C. Complete description and measurement data have been placed on file with the commission. The conducted power line emissions tests and other test items were performed in a anechoic chamber also located at Training Research Co., Ltd. No. 2, Lane 194, Huan-Ho Street, Hsichih, Taipei Hsien 221, Taiwan, R.O.C. Training Research Co., Ltd. is listed by the FCC as a facility available to do measurement work for others on a contract basis. 1.6 General Test Condition The conditions under which the EUT operates were varied to determine their effect on the equipmentโ€™s emission characteristics.
