On/Off switch of receiver Turn the switch to ON position, now the unit is standby to working mode, when pir sensor detected trigger, will sound door chime and the led will light up. You can turn HI/LOW switch to select sound volume. 6. To test the pir sensor unit detection area After selecting a location for installation of the unit you can turn the switch to on and wait for 30 seconds for "WARM-UP". Then you try walking in front of the unit. When the unit detects motion, the chime will sound. There will be no chime sound if you walk beyond the detection range. By testing the detection range, you can adjust the location the sensor angle for best coverage. Turn the chime off after your test. 7. Battery low indicator A) Pir sensor When pir sensor batteries goes low, the LED will lighting to indicate the low battery. Then replace the new battery. B) Receiver When receiver batteries goes low, the LED of the middle will lighting to indicate the low battery. Then replace the new battery. 8. Power adapter (not included) for receiver unit with output 6V DC, 200mA female plug, center ( + ) positive can be applied to the DC jack for long time use.
