With this revolutionary technology, the FCC has allowed Firstech, Inc. to use 28X more power than any of the transmitters currently marketed in the US and in most case 56X the power. We are using 560K uV/m in contrast to most transmitters power of 5 K to 20K uV/m. The result is that our range is extended up to 1.25 miles. The FCC allows massive power usage because the spreadspectrum technology makes it possible for many transmitters to communicate withoutinterfering with each other. For the first time in the history of the auto security industry, Firstech has achieved aremarkable technological break-through in utilizing a FCC-approved Spread Spectrumand 900 Mhz Technology. Introduction Thank you for choosing CompuStar, a state-of-the-art Two-Way alarm/remote start system for your vehicle that uses Spread Spectrum Technology (SST). We, at Firstech,Inc., are constantly performing research and development to make you and your vehiclesafe and more comfortable. Security and comfort, that s what Firstech, Inc. is all about. CompuStar 2WSSR system consists of the following two devices :Controller : This 5 inch by 3.5 inch by 1 inch rectangular black box is the brain of the CompuStar 2WSSR system and is installed underneath the dashboard of your vehicle.Upon receipt of a digital signal from the antenna, the controller can perform car taskssuch as remote keyless entry, auto-start and security alerts.Remote-Pager : This device allows the user to activate multiple functions of theCompuStar 2WSSR controller such as auto-start, keyless entry and security features by pressing a combination of 4 buttons on the unit for up to a 1.25 miles distance. Also, the unique color LCD display called CompuGLO allows the user to visually, audibly and through vibration, monitor the security status of your car at all times. Firstech, LLC Warrants to the original purchaser that this product shall be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and circumstances for the period of timethat the original owner of this product owns the vehicle in which it is installed; except thatthe remote controller unit for the period of one year from the date of installation to the origi-nal owner of this product. The EUT was placed on the wooden table which has dimensions of 0.8 meters in height, 1 meter in length and 1.5 meters in width. Receiving antenna (Biconi-Log antenna : 30 to 1000 MHz or Horn Antenna : 1 to 18 GHz) was placed at the distance of 3 meter from the EUT. An attempt was made to maximize the emission level with the various configurations of the EUT while rotating the table and varying antenna height. Emissions level from the EUT with various configurations w…
