Macro function Package Contents You will find the following items in the package. - Game controller - Transceiver (Dongle) - Four AA size batteries - User Manual Main Features β PS/ PS1/ PS2 compatible β Connect indication β Digital and analog mode β Rubberized trigger grip for superior comfort β Automatic plug and play connection β Turbo function β Sleep and wake-up function β Low power consumption β Macro programmable up to 15 combination of key sequence β Dual Vibration β Low battery indication with auto detection vibration cut-off Key Matrix and Definitions Battery Battery compartment for 4 AA batteries is located at the back of the controller. Either alkaline or rechargeable batteries can be used, but do not place in both types simultaneously to avoid the danger of explosion. Function Descriptions (1) Game controller Connection (a) Automatic Connection PS2 Dongle memory has an ID address for automatic connection. 1. Plug the Dongle to PS2 console. Switch on the power on Game controller. 2. Press Setup button on the Dongle and LED light will flash at interval of four times per second. 3. Immediately press and hold the Left Stick Handle + Select key on Game controller within 15 seconds to match both corresponding transceivers. 4. LED light on Dongle will be on constantly, indicating that it has connected with the corresponding game controller and it is ready for operation. Whenever the power is on, PS2 Dongle will search for the game controller within the effective range. As long as the game controller is not recoded, it remains matched with the corresponding PS2 Dongle. In most cases, the connection process will complete within 2 seconds. (b) Manual Connection Repeat the above similar procedures for manual connection. (2) Turbo Operation (a) Turbo ON/OFF 1. Press Turbo + a setting key (select one of the β³ β β‘ β³ L1 L2 R1 or R2 keys). The selected key will enter the Turbo phase. 2. Press the same selected keys again to clear its Turbo function. (b) Turbo LED Indication Turbo LED light will turn on when Turbo button is pressed. Release the button and the light will go off. Press the Turbo + Start buttons to change the Turbo speed. (3) Sleep and Wake-up Mode The game controller is designed with power-saving device to prolong the life span of the batteries. 1. To conserve power consumption, game controller will enter the sleeping mode after two minutes when it is not connected. 2. Game controller will also enter the sleeping mode during the connection phase, after 5 minutes if neither button nor stick handle is in used. 3. Press Turbo, Macro, Select, Start or Mode buttons to wake up the controller. (4) Low Power Indicator When battery voltage is lower than the preset voltage of 3.5V, Mode LED and Turbo/Macro LED lights will flash simultaneously. Power of vibration motor will be cut off. (5) MACRO Function MACRO means the programmable function. Many fighting games require special tactics with a combination of several different keys. Save the tactics utilizing the MACRO function, and just press the preset key to perform the programmed fighting tactics while playing games. (a) β To set MACRO 1. Press the MACRO button, and MACRO LED light turns on 2. Select and press one of the setting keys (L2, R2, Left Stick, Right Stick), MACRO LED light will flash 3. Press each sequence key to combine as MACRO function key. Each set of MACRO function key can accommodate 15 keys. The setting is saved and quit automatically after 15 keys. 4. After the setting, press MACRO button and LED light turns off. (b) β To cancel MACRO 1. Press MACRO button and the MACRO LED light turns on 2. Select and press one setting key (L2, R2, Left Stick or Right Stick). MACRO LED light will flash 3. Press MACRO button, and the LED light will turn off. The previous setting that is saved in the MACRO function key will be cleared. (c) β To set MACRO speed Fast speed (0.03 second): 1. Press MACRO key β MACRO LED light turns on 2. Press βUpβ button β MACRO LED light flashes 3. Press MACRO key Slow speed (0.1 second): 1. Press MACRO key β MACRO LED light turns on 2. Press βDownβ button β MACRO LED light flashes 3. Press MACRO key For example: Attack sequence in Street Fighter: Down, Right Down, Right, Down, Right Down, Right, R2, R2, R2 To set: MACRO function key at -- L2 Speed at -- Fast speed 1. Press MACRO key β L2 β Down β Right Down β Right β Down β Right Down β Right β R2 β SELECT β R2 β SELECT β R2 β MACRO key 2. Press MACRO key β Up key β MACRO key After the above setting, just press the L2 key to perform the sequence attack at high speed. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the userβs authority to operate the equipment. NOTE This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiated radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: -Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. -Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. -Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.β¦
