The 9.6V rechargeable battery pack must be charged before use by utilizing the battery charger included 2. Do not charge the battery pack for more than 6 hours 3. Do not charge the battery pack if there is any sign of leakage, corrosion, or exposed wires 4. Do not cover the battery pack while charging 5. Do not install or recharge the battery pack when it is hot, wait for it to cool 6. Do not dispose of the battery in fire 7. Do not dismantle the battery or charger; do not cut the battery or charger cables 8. The battery pack will be warm after charging and hot after use in a vehicle 9. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited 10. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged 11. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision 12. Batteries should only be replaced by an adult 13. The transformer (charger) is not a toy 14. Compatible with charge-only type (700mAh Max.) rechargeable battery packs. Other types of batteries may burst causing injury and/or damage. This power unit is intended to be orientated in a vertical or floor mount position. This charger is intended to be used for charging 9.6V rechargeable battery pack with a capacity of 700mAh Max. It cannot be used for charging non-rechargeable batteries. Regularly examine battery charger for any damage to its cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. In the event of such damage, it must not be used to charge battery pack until such damage has been repaired. Note that the 9V battery is non-rechargeable and is not to be recharged. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Please replace when transmission is poor. 15. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. How to Play 1. Switch ON the Vehicle 2. Use the Forward / Backward joystick (Fig.3) to drive the Vehicle forward and backward 3. Use the Left / Right joystick (Fig.3) to control the Vehicle turning left or right 4. If the vehicle does not run in straight line, adjust the Direction Adjustment on the vehicle chassis (Fig. 1) 5. Operate vehicle on a smooth surface for optimum performance 6. Remember to switch OFF the power of the vehicle and transmitter when finished playing 7. The optimum control range is up to 10m in an outdoor environment Performance Tips 1. Do not drive on grass, dirt, sand, dust, carpet or in water 2. Do not drive in windy or rainy weather 3. Avoid direct impact with obstacles 4. Switch OFF the power when not in use to prevent damage to the vehicle and transmitter due to leakage of electrolyte from batteries 5. Remove all batteries from the vehicle and transmitter when not in use for long periods of time 6. Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing away from wheels 7. Outdoor use is recommended in order to get optimum control range 8. Clean the battery compartment to make sure it is free from dust 9. The operating range can be affected by a variety of factors: a) Low voltage of batteries in transmitter or vehicle b) Interference from other items that emit radio frequency signals Caution 1. Do not attempt to disassemble the vehicle or transmitter 2. Do not operate the vehicle simultaneously with other remote control items that have the same in same location, this will interfere with the vehicle and may cause loss of control 3. Make sure the batteries are installed with correct polarities (+/-) as shown inside the battery compartment 4.
