Operational Description

FCC ID: OTM-8806115-49MTX Model: 88242 (Transmitter portion) Technical Description of Transmitter The transmitter operates at 49.860 MHz, and controls the corresponding receiver to move forward, backward, left and right. The circuit of the transmitter comprises of, 1. Control buttons: Consisting: S1 and S2 2. An Encoding circuit Consisting: U1 (PT977) 3. A RF Oscillator (49.860MHz) Consisting: Y1, Q1 4. A Filter Network Consisting: L1, T1, C1, C2, C3 5. A RF Modulator and Amplifier Consisting: Q2 6. A Power Supply Consisting: 9VDC (1 X “9V” battery) 7. Regulator Consisting: ZD1, C11 Antenna Gain: 0dBi Nominal rated field strength: 68.5dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 3dB The transmitter uses an external, telescope type antenna with unique antenna connector .

Analysis Report Report No.: 15050510HKG-001 The Equipment Under Test (EUT) is a portable transmitter of a RC Car operating at 49.86 MHz as dictated by a crystal. The EUT is powered by a 9.0 V DC source (1 x 9.0V battery). The EUT has a left / right joystick and a forward / backward joystick. After switching ON the EUT and the receiver of the RC Car, activating the joysticks on the EUT can control the receiver moving forward, backward left and right directions. Antenna Type: External, telescope antenna with unique antenna connector Antenna Gain: 0dBi Nominal rated field strength: 68.5dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 3dB According to the KDB 447498: Based on the Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance was 71.5dBμV/m at 3m in frequency 49.860MHz, thus; The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2*1000 / 30] = 0.00424mW Thus; Conducted power = Radiated Power (EIRP) – Antenna Gain So; Conducted Power = 0.00424mW. The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level for 49.860MHz when the minimum test separation distance is < 50mm: = [474 * (1 + log100/f(MHz))]/2 = 308.6mW Since the above conducted output power is well below the SAR Exclusion Threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
