Re: Certification for Digi-Code 5200, 5202 Transmitter Models: 5200, 5202 FCC ID: OWMCK-DIGICODE CANADA: to be provided by IC REQUEST FOR CONFIDENTIALITY Pursuant to 47 CRF 0.459, Digi-Code requests that a part of the subject application be held confidential. This comprises Exhibits (5) Schematics (10) Parts List (Part of Exhibit only) Digi-Code has spent substantial effort in developing this product and it is one of the first of its kind in industry. Having the subject information easily available to "competition" would negate the advantage they have achieved by developing this product. Not protecting the details of the design will definitely result in a financial hardship. If there are any questions regarding this request, please contact me at the above address or call 734-483-4211, fax 734-647-2106 or e-mail [email protected]. Sincerely, Valdis V. 307 Robbins Dr. β’ Troy, Michigan 48083 β’ Tel: 248 589-3645 β’ Fax 248 588-6801 Description of Operation Model DC-5200 and Model DC-5202: These remote keypad transmitters are remote control devices designed and manufactured for the purpose of radio control of garage door openers and other like devices. These devices are designed to be mounted on the outside of a garage door, on the jamb or other convenient mounting location, in close proximity to the garage door opener. Model DC- 5200 operates on a fixed frequency of 300 MHz and Model DC-5202 operates on a fixed frequency of 310 MHz. Operation or actuation of these devices is controlled by a keypad switch. Entering the proper 4 digit key sequence causes the transmitter to emit a radio signal for approximately one-second. In compatible non-rolling code opener applications, the 10 position dip switch code, already set on the opener, is programmed into the remote keypad transmitter via keypad entry. In compatible rolling code opener applications, the opener is put into βlearn modeβ, and the remote keypad transmitter is activated by entering the proper 4 digit key sequence. This code is received and stored by the opener. All models are compliant with F.C.C. Part 15 Rules.
