Users Manual

SPC5165 Time Sync Alarm Clock Thank for your purchase of this quality clock. The utmost care has gone into the design and manufacture of your clock. Please read these instructions and store them in a safe place for future reference. Controls 1. AM/PM Indicator 2. UP Button 3. TIME Button 4. SYNC Button 5. ALARM Indicator 6. DOWN Button Getting Started Connect the power cord into the back of the clock, and the other end into a USB power outlet, or a standard electrical outlet using the included power adapter. The display will turn on. Your clock is now ready to be set. Important: Use ONLY 5V 1A or 5V 2A power adapter or USB power sources. Note: The clock can NOT operate on batteries only. The battery is for backup only. It maintains time and alarm time setting during a power outage. The display will not show during a power outage. TIME SYNC Function Press the SYNC button to activate the time sync function. Using the native controls on your mobile phone with Bluetooth function and select “SHARP SPC5165" in your Bluetooth settings to pair. When successfully paired and connected, the digits of the alarm clock will start rolling and fast forward to the correct date and time automatically. Note: To ensure accuracy, the clock automatically performs a TIME SYNC at 1:00 AM daily. If the phone is out of range or Bluetooth is disabled, the clock will continue operating based on its last known accurate time. 7. ALARM Button 8. HI/LO ALARM Switch 9. SNOOZE/DIMMER Button 10. Battery Compartment 11. DC 5V Jack SNOOZE & DIMMER Function SNOOZE When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to pause the alarm, the alarm indicator will flash & sound again in 9 minutes. DIMMER To adjust the display brightness, press the DIMMER button to select between 100%, 50%, 20% or OFF. Note: The default is 100% display brightness. Using the ALARM Press the ALARM button to activate the alarm and the alarm indicator will light up and slide the HI/LO ALARM switch to adjust the alarm volume. The BEEP will come on at the set time. To stop the alarm, press the ALARM button. The alarm will sound again the next day. To turn the alarm off completely, press the ALARM button until the alarm indicator is no longer visible. Manual TIME SET Function (Optional) Setting the ALARM Press and hold the ALARM button down for two seconds to activate ALARM setting, hour digit will blink. Press the UP or DOWN button to advance to the correct hour. Press the UP or DOWN button to advance to the correct minute and press the ALARM button to confirm, the alarm time is now set. Press and hold the TIME button down for two seconds to activate time setting, the hour digit will blink. Press the + or - button to advance to the correct hour.
