Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. Tel: 886-2-8226-5088 Fax: 886-2-8226-5077 2 Overview BT‐378 is a class 2 NFC Bluetooth Music Receiver that allows a music player, such as iPhone TM , Android TM smart phone, or MP3 player to stream music to an external Speaker wirelessly. Designed with the CSR BC05 chip solution, it has 3.5” audio jack for external speakers. Moreover, it is equipped with an NFC tag that enables smart phone with NFC to retrieve BT‐378 BT address and device name to further simplify user experience. In case of Android 4.1 smart phone with NFC, you tap the phone to BT‐378 for auto‐pairing. An LED indicator for link/pairing is also provided. Features „ Fully compliant with Bluetooth v2.1+EDR „ Support Bluetooth A/V profile (AADP) „ Support NFC Forum Type 2 Tag „ 2.4~2.4835GHz ISM band „ Class 2 RF output, up to 10 meters of coverage area „ LED indicator for power and Bluetooth status „ Support 3.5” audio jack for analog Speaker Set Up 1. Connect the BT‐378 to an audio input on your home music system. 2. Connect the AC power adapter cable to BT‐378 power jack, and plug the AC adapter into a wall power outlet. 3. The blue LED light will flash once to indicate the unit is powered and is now ready to be paired to your Bluetooth smart device. Follow your device’s normal Bluetooth connection process by searching for devices; once you have found the Bluetooth device labeled NFC BT, you should connect to it. 3. Now any music or audio you play will play through your music system. Reconnecting Your Device If you move out of range or turn off the Bluetooth feature on your mobile device, BT‐378 will disconnect from your device. To reconnect, simply access the Bluetooth Manager on your device and select the appropriate device listed. Changing Connected Device If you want to switch from one device to another, follow these steps: 1. End the existing Bluetooth connection with the connected device by either disconnecting within your “settings” or turning off Bluetooth. 2. BT‐378 can now be connected to a different smart mobile device. 3. Follow the directions in “Pairing Your Bluetooth Music Receiver” to connect a different device. Out of Range or Lost Signal If the music device is out of range (beyond 30 feet) of BT‐378 or if there is something blocking the Bluetooth signal, the LED light will turn off to indicate that the Bluetooth connection with the music device has been lost. To avoid a lost connection, move the music device back into range (within 30 feet), or reduce obstructions between the receiver and your smart device. Within 15 seconds, the connection will automatically be reestablished and the blue LED light will turn on. If the connection is lost for more than 15 seconds, the connection will need to be reestablished. Follow the directions in “Reconnecting Your Device.”

FCC ID: PANBT378 Report No.: RF120831D10 Operational Description The device is a Frequency Hopping device with 79 hopping frequencies. The antenna type is Chip antenna and there is no antenna connector used. The EUT is a unit that contains a Bluetooth radio module. Bluetooth is a short-range wireless technology operating in the 2.4GHz band. It enables devices to have the ability to form networks and exchange information.
