RE: Aero Communication Co., Ltd., FCC ID:PG8202E01, AN01T1258From: etcemi [[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, April 11, 2001 1:19 AM To: Mike Kuo Subject: Re: Aero Communication Co., Ltd., FCC ID:PG8202E01, AN01T1258 Hello! Mike, Sorry for the delay! For your requests, please find the description below: Question #1: As indicated in the test setup photo, EUT was mounted on a wood pole above the turn table. Even though you are trying to simulate the actual usage at the position that a person will wear the headset. This test setup is not acceptable. Headset can be weared by a person when he/she is in the sitting position as well which will be at the table height. Please retest the EUT by positioning the device on the table top without wood pole. Ans.: Please find attachment for re-tested data. Question #2: Submit a new bandwidth plot and funda mental radiated emission measurements using the following guidelines. When conducting the bandwidth/field strength test be sure that the input to the EUT is a cellular telephone and not the spectrum analyzer. Set the input to maximum by using full volume output from the cellular telephone and a loud voice.( Please note : During the test, device must be properly modulated with desired audio signal. This requirement has been confirmed by FCC engineer. Please refer to ANSI C63.4 section 13.1.1.1) Ans.: Please find attachment for re-tested data. Question #3: This device is requested to be certified with entire band. Please provide the frequency mapping for each channel and indicate how the channel can be selected. Ans.: There are 10 channels in total and the detailed frequencies are as follow: Cellular side(MHz) Earphone(MHz) CH01 88.3 104.0 CH02 88.7 104.4 CH03 89.1 104.8 CH04 89.5 105.2 CH05 89.9 104.6 CH06 90.3 106.0 CH07 90.7 106.4 CH08 91.1 106.8 CH09 91.5 107.2 CH10 91.9 107.6 -----Original Message----- From: certadm [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: None To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Aero Communication Co., Ltd., FCC ID:PG8202E01, AN01T1258 Notice_content ------------- Question #1: As indicated in the test setup photo, EUT was mounted on a wood po le above the turn table.
