Rhein Tech Laboratories, Inc. Sept. 27, 2005 Federal Communications Commissions RE: PH3 DJ-S45T / 800MHz analog cellular telephone band blocking Dear Sir or Madam, This is to declare that the device in application PH3 DJ-S45T has been blocked for any and all access of 824.00 to 849.9975MHz and 869.00 to 894.9975MHz. The device uses double super heterodyne PLL synthesizer circuitry as a receiver circuit. Its first oscillation frequencies to compose receiving frequency are as follows and they can’t be tuned to other frequencies: Receiving frequency: 420.000 – 473.995MHz VCO frequency: 398.300 – 452.295MHz Image frequency: 376.600 – 430.595MHz In addition, a bandpass-filter is used to receive above-mentioned frequencies therefore 800MHz range is filtered out. These oscillation frequencies can’t be altered because the CPU used in this device, our parts code XA1104, vender’s code M38227M8A-648HP is exclusively programmed for DJ-S45T and Alinco, Inc exports this version only to the US market. This CPU can’t be modified by any means to receive the cellular frequencies declared above because its memory is a one-time ROM. Respectfully, Kazuhiro Kusuhara General manager, Production Section, Alinco, Inc. Electronics Division
