This radio is designed for and classified as “Occupational Use Only”, meaning it must be used only during the course of employment by individuals aware of the hazards, and the ways to minimize such hazards. This radio is NOT intended for use by the “General Population” in an uncontrolled environment. This radio has been tested and complies with the FCC RF exposure limits for “Occupational Use Only”. Inaddition , your Alinco Incorporated, Electronics Division radio complies with the following Standards and Guidelines with regard to RF energy and electromagnetic energy levels and evaluation of such levels for exposure to humans: FCC OET Bulletin 65 Edition 97-01 Supplement C, Evaluating Compliance with FCC Guidelines for Human Exposure to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields. American National Standards Institute (C95.1-1992), IEEE Standard for Safety Levels with Respect to Human Exposure to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields, 3 kHz to 300 GHz. American National Standards Institute (C95.3-1992), IEEE Recommended Practice for the Measurement of Potentially Hazardous Electromagnetic Fields– RF and Microwave. The following accessories are authorized for use with this product. Use of accessories other than those (listed in the instruction) specified may result in RF exposure levels exceed the FCC requirements for wireless RF exposure. To ensure you’re your expose to RF electromagnetic energy is within the FCC allowable limits for occupational use, always adhere to the following guidelines: DO NOT operate the radio without a proper antenna attached, as this may damaged the radio and may also cause you to exceed FCC RF exposure limits. A proper antenna is the antenna supplied with this radio by the manufacturer or antenna specifically authorized by the manufacturer for use with this radio. DO NOT transmits for more than 50% of total radio use time (“50%duty cycle”). Transmitting more than 50% of the time can cause FCC RF exposure compliance requirements to be exceeded. The radio is transmitting when the “TX indicator” lights red. You can cause the radio to transmit by pressing the “PTT” switch. The information liste…

Date: 19 May 2020 Federal Communication Commission Authorization and Evaluation Division FCC ID: PH3DR-06TA Subject: Declaration of compliance to the requirements of §15.121 We declare that, this scanning receiver is incapable of operating (tuning), or readily being altered by the users to operate, within the frequency bands allocated to the Cellular Radiotelephone Service in part 22 of this chapter (cellular telephone bands). This device will not be able to receive transmissions in the cellular telephone bands by means of clipping the leads of, or installing, a simple component such as a diode, resistor or jumper wire; replacing a plug-in semiconductor chip; or programming a semiconductor chip using special access codes or an external device, such as a personal computer. This device is also incapable of converting digital cellular communication transmissions to analog voice audio. This device is designed so that the tuning, control and filtering circuitry is inaccessible. Any attempts to modify the equipment to receive transmissions from the Cellular Radiotelephone Service will render the receiver inoperable. This scanning receiver rejects any signals from the Cellular Radiotelephone Service frequency bands that are 38 dB or lower based upon a 12 dB SINAD measurement. We are aware that the modification of this device to receive transmissions from Cellular Radiotelephone Service frequency bands will be considered to constitute manufacture of such equipment. This includes any individual, individuals, entity or organization that modifies one or more scanners. Any modification to receive transmissions from the Cellular Radiotelephone Service frequency bands voids the certification of the scanning receiver, regardless of the date of manufacture of the original unit. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you. Sincerely, Signatory Signature Kazuhiro Kusuhara Alinco Incorporated, Electronics Division

TECHNICAL INFORMATION A major technical description of EUT is described as following: Operation Frequency 44.950 MHz to 47.930 MHz Modulation FM Antenna Designation Detachable Antenna type External antenna Output power 50W Antenna gain 0dBi Power Supply DC 13.8V 3. RF EXPOSURE MEASUREMENT 3.1 INTRODUCTION Human exposure to RF emissions from mobile devices (47 CFR §2.1091) may be evaluated based on the MPE limits adopted by the FCC for electric and magnetic field strength and/or power density, as appropriate, since exposures are assumed to occur at distances of 20 cm or more from persons. The 1992 ANSI/IEEE standard (See Listed limit table) specifies a minimum separation distance of 20 cm for performing reliable field measurements to determine adherence to MPE limits. If the minimum separation distance between a transmitter and nearby persons is more than 20 cm under normal operating conditions, compliance with MPE limits may be determined at such distance from the transmitter. When applicable, operation instructions and prominent warning labels may be used to alert the exposed persons to maintain a specified distance from the transmitter or to limit their exposure durations and usage conditions to ensure compliance. 3.2 FCC LIMITS FOR MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE EXPOSURE (MPE) LIMITS FOR GENERAL POPULATION / UNCONTROLLED EXPOSURE Frequency Range (MHz) E-field Strength (E) (V/m) Magnetic Field Strength (H) (A/m) Power Density (S) (mW/cm 2 ) Averaging Time |E| 2 , |H| 2 or S (Minutes) 0.3 -- 1.34 614 1.63 (100)* 30 1.34 -- 30 824/f 2.19/f (180/f 2 )* 30 30 -- 300 27.5 0.073 0.2 30 300 -- 1500 -- -- f/1500 30 1500 -- 100,000 -- -- 1.0 30 *Note: 1. f= Frequency in MHz * Plane-wave Equivalent Power Density 2.The averaging time for General Population/Uncontrolled exposure to fixed transmitters is not applicable for mobile and portable transmitters. See 47 CFR §§2.1091 and 2.1093 on source-based time-averaging requirement for mobile and portable transmitters. 4. CLASSIFICATION OF THE ASSESSMENT METHODS According to user manual, The antenna of the product, under normal use condition is at least 139.7 cm away from the body of the user. Warning statement to the user for keeping at least 139.7 cm separation distance and the prohibition of operating to a person has been printed on the user’s manual. So, this product under normal use is located on electromagnetic far field between the human body. S=PG/4πR² Where: S=power density P=power input to antenna G=power gain of the antenna in the direction of interest relative to an isotropic radiator R=distance to the center of radiation of the antenna 5. EUT OPERATION CONDITION Make the EUT to transmit at Bottom channel, Middle channel and Top channel individually. 6.
