Depending on your responses, kindly understand there may be additional comments. 1.) Please provide a revised Restricted Band Edge test per my earlier August 9, 2004 email. 2.) This filing seems a bit confused. You are asking for a Limited Modular Approval, but it is not how and in what way the filing is limited. All the basic requirements of DA 00-1407 seem to be in place. Please explain how this qualifies as a Limited Modular Approval. 3.) Regardless of whether this is a full or limited modular approval; the Manual appears written for the general public. This is not allowed – only modular approvals to OEM integrators who can install the final installation in a proper, safe manner are permitted. Please provide a detailed installation procedure showing how OEM integrators can satisfy the RF category “Mobile” radio frequency exposure guidelines. 4.) Does the Applicant request any exhibits be held Confidential? If so, please supply a Confidentiality Request letter. Typical exhibits to be considered usually include Block Diagram and Schematics. 5.) Kindly provide larger and clearer Internal Photographs. The supplied photos are not completely satisfactory.
