It allows wireless connections between Bluetooth devices such as cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDA), desktop, laptops, input – output devices (mouse, keyboard, and printers), and home appliance. Bluetooth refers to a worldwide standard designed to operate in the internationally recognized ISM (Industrial Scientific and Medical) frequency band. Within the ISM band (2.4GHz - 2.48GHz), Bluetooth transmissions hop between 79 separated frequencies 1,600 times every second, and with a communication range of about 10 meters (Class II). Mini Bluetooth Headset Product Specification: Bluetooth Specification: Bluetooth Version 1.2 compliant. (Class II) Standby Time: 150 hours Working Time: 11 hours Power Consumption: <20mA (Talking); <1mA (Standby) Weight: 13 grams (Battery included) Certificates: CE, FCC, BQB *Above mentioned Talking Time and Standby Time will be different owing to mobile phones’ setting and using environment. The figures above show the average values of certain mobile phones tested by manufacturer. Box Content and Picture - Mini Bluetooth Headset - Travel Charger 100~240V - Necklace and Hook - Carry Bag - Earplug sponges - Quick Guide and User Manual Getting Started Charging Battery The Headset comes with an embedded rechargeable battery. For the first time usage, it takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery. Afterward, it takes about 2 hours to fully charge. After fully charged, the talking time can be up to 11 hours, and the standby time can be up to 150 hours. 1. Connect the Travel Charger with the AC power. 2. Connect the Travel Charger, DC Connector, and Headset as picture shown above. Red indicator of Headset will light up. 3. When the battery is fully charged, the red indicator of Headset will be off. Turning the Headset On or Off. 1. To turn on the Headset, press and hold S1 button for 3 seconds. You will hear a low tone of “Do” and the blue indicator of Headset flashes. 2. To turn off the Headset, press and hold S1 button for 3 seconds. You will hear a low tone of “Do” and the red indicator flashes quickly. Then, the Headset is powered off. Note: The Headset will be shut down while charging battery. Please turn it on after pairing. Pairing the Headset You are required to pair the Headset with your mobile phone or other devices before using it. Step 1: The Headset must be powered off before initiating pairing. To initiate pairing, press and hold S1 button for 5 seconds until the blue and red indicators of Headset are flashing alternatively. If you are wearing the Headset during the pairing process, you will hear two short high tones of “Do-Do” when the Headset is ready for pairing. Step 2: Initial pairing process of your mobile phone. Step 3: You will be asked to enter pin-code to complete pairing, enter 1234 and confirm it. (Note: The 1234 is default pin-code pre-stored in Headset.) The red indicator of Headset will turn off and the blue indicator will flash slowly after pairing completed successfully. Step 4: After pairing, the blue indicator of Headset will quickly shining 3 times every second. If with reference design in your mobile phone, you can find a symbol of headset/handsfree function. Note: 1. If the Headset is not in pairing mode, your mobile phone won’t find the Headset. Please set the Headset in pairing mode before letting your mobile phone search for the headset. 2. If no pairing is possible in a period of time, around approximate three minutes, the Headset will automatically power on and so the previous pairing (if any) is revoked. You may need to repeat steps 1 to 3 until pairing succeeds. Making Calls You are able to use the Headset to make calls when it is paired successfully with your mobile phone. When your mobile phone has paired with Headset or other devices, you can hear a ring tone while calling. You can press and hold S2 for 3 seconds or press end button of your mobile phone to end the call. 1. Using phone keys – Dial the number on the mobile phone as you usually do. Once the call has been set up, the voice will be transmitted to Headset automatically. 2. Redial – Press and hold S2 button for 3 seconds to redial the last number you called. Answering and Ending Calls 1. When the Headset is powered on and the mobile phone rings, you will hear a build-in musical tone and certain phones will still have a ring tone. Press S1 button to answer the call. 2. Press and hold S2 button for 3 seconds to reject the call. The opposite side will hear the message of voice box and the headset’s musical tone will have rung for extra two seconds. 3. If the Headset is powered off, press and hold S1 button for 3 seconds to turn it on and answer the call. 4. Adjust Headset Volume by pressing S1 button for volume up and pressing S2 button for volume down. 5. End calls by pressing and holding S2 button for 3 seconds. Transfer Press and hold S1 button for 3 seconds to transfer the call to mobile phone while talking on the Headset. If you want to transfer the call back to Headset, press S1 button again. Voice Dialing If your mobile phone supports Voice Dialing Function, you can start or record the voice commands and press S1 for 1 second to start the voice control through the Headset.
