External photographs 2. Inter photographs 3. User manual 4. Test-setup photographs The short-term confidentiality is scheduled to terminate on 06. 30. 2012. The reason for this request for short-term confidentiality is that the information contained in the exhibits as listed above has been classified as being temporary company confidential (with reference to 47 CFR Part 0, section 0.457(d)). Disclosure of any portion of this information to other parties prior to the date of the actual marketing of the device would cause substantial competitive harm. I, as the applicant, understand and have taken notice of the following. (a) The maximum period for short-term confidentiality is 180 days, counting from the date of issue of the Grant (b) The applicant shall inform the TCB about the date on which the device will be actually marketed. Such a notification must be received by the TCB before the date of actual marketing. The short-term confidentiality will then terminate before or on the date of the actual marketing of the device. (c) If no request from the applicant is received by the TCB for releasing the short- term confidentiality, it will terminate automatically after 180 days, counting from the date of issue of the Grant Your sincerely, Won Kyu Yeon / project manager

Modular Approval Request FCC FCC ID: PROEDDY-WIFIV3 Items to be covered Answer from applicant 1. The modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding. Yes 2. The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs (if such inputs are provided) to ensure that the module will comply with Part 15 requirements under conditions of excessive data rates or over-modulation. Yes 3. The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation. Yes 4. The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of Section 15.203 and 15.204(c). The antenna must either be permanently attached or employ a “unique” antenna coupler (at all connections between the module and the antenna, including the cable).. Yes 5. The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration, i.e., the module must not be inside another device during testing. This is intended to demonstrate that the module is capable of complying with Part 15 emission limits regardless of the device into which it is eventually installed. Yes 6. The modular transmitter must be labeled with its own FCC ID number, and, if the FCC ID is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. This exterior label can use wording such as the following: “Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: XYZMODEL1” or “Contains FCC ID: XYZMODEL1.” Any similar wording that expresses the same meaning may be used. The Grantee may either provide such a label, an example of which must be included in the application for equipment authorization, or, must provide adequate instructions along with the module which explain this requirement. In the latter case, a copy of these instructions must be included in the application for equipment authorization. Yes 7. The modular transmitter must comply with any specific rule or operating requirements applicable to the transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements. A copy of these instructions must be included in the application for equipment authorization. For example, there are very strict operational and timing requirements that must be met before a transmitter is authorized for operation under Section 15.231. For instance, data transmission is prohibited, except for operation under Section 15.231(e), in which case there are separate field strength level and timing requirements. Compliance with these requirements must be assured. Yes 8. The modular transmitter must comply with any applicable RF exposure requirements. For example, FCC Rules in Sections 2.1091, 2.1093 and specific Sections of Part 15, including 15.319(i), 15.407(f), 15.253(f) and 15.255(g), require that Unlicensed PCS, UNII and millimeter wave devices perform routine environmental evaluation for RF Exposure to demonstrate compliance. In addition, spread spectrum transmitters operating under Section 15.247 are required to address RF Exposure compliance in accordance with Section 15.247(b)(4). Modular transmitters approved under other Sections of Part 15, when necessary, may also need to address certain RF Exposure concerns, typically by providing specific installation and operating instructions for users, installers and other interested parties to ensure compliance. Yes Note: If compliance with one or more of the numbered requirements, listed above, cannot be demonstrated, it may be possible to obtain a “Limited Modular Approval” (LMA). RF Exposure Info

IST Co., Ltd EMC LABORATORY 1 of 2 RF Exposure According 15.247(b)(4) and 1.307(b)(1) Systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensures that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guidelines. According to 1.1310 and 2.1093 RF exposure is calculated. Limits for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) Frequency Range (MHz) Electronic Field Strength (V/m) Magnetic Field Strength (A/m) Power Density (mW/cm 2 ) Averaging Time (minute) Limits for General Population/Uncontrolled Exposure 0.3 – 1.34 614 1.63 *(100) 30 1.34 – 30 824/f 2.19/f *(180/f 2 ) 30 30 – 300 27.5 0.073 0.2 30 300 – 1500 / / f/1500 30 1500 - 15000 / / 1.0 30 F = frequency in MHz * = Plane-wave equivalent power density IST Co., Ltd EMC LABORATORY 2 of 2 RF exposure calculations EUT Eddy-WiFi V3.0 Operating Frequency Band 2412 ~ 2462 Exposure Classification General Population / Uncontrolled exposure ( S = 1 mW/ cm 2 ) Max. Output Power 14.06 dBm ( 25.46 mW ) Antenna Gain(Max) 3 dBi ( Numeric Gain : 2) Evaluation Applied MPE Evaluation Note : 1. The maximum output power is 14.06 dBm ( 25.46 mW ) at 2462 MHz. 2. For mobile or fixed location transmitters, no SAR consideration applied. The minimum separation generally be used is at least 20 cm, even if the calculations indicate that the MPE distance would be lesser. S = (P*G)/4πR 2 Where, S = Power Density ( mW/cm 2 ) P = Output Power to Antenna ( mW ) G = Gain of antenna in numeric R = Distance between radiating structure and observation point ( cm ) Then, the power density ( S ) = (25.46 * 2) / 4 * 3.1416 * 20 2 ) = 0.01013 ( mW/cm 2 ) Note : The power density at 20 cm does not exceed the 1 mW/cm 2 limit. Therefore, the exposure condition is compliant with FCC rules.

The R/S ESCI and Hyup-Rip KNW-407 LISN are bonded to bottom of the shielded room. The EUT is located on the wooden table with distance more than 80 cm from the LISN and powered from the EMCO LISN .The peripheral equipment is powered from the other LISN. Power to the LISNs are filtered by a noise cut power line filters. All electrical cables are shielded by braided tinned steel tubing with inner φ 1.2 cm. If the EUT is a DC-powered device, power will be derived from the source power supply it normally will be powered from and this supply lines will be connected to the EMCO LISN.
